“Amazing Hotel! Highly recommended”
Lovely hotel, lobby was really impressive on arrival and we were very pleased with our room (3 girls sharing). We had a balcony with a pool view and could also see the sea. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We were breakfast only and the buffet was fab - lots of choice and all very good. We loved the fact that you couldn't reserve sunbeds and witnessed the attendants removing peoples towels and possessions. It was great cos there were always sunbeds available. Pretty area and shops and beach were just a 5 minute walk (down a hill so not so good on the way back up). I would highly recommend this hotel and would return.
“VERY impressed !”
We had a WONDERFUL time in this hotel (half-board) . During our stay we have been visiting many hotels in Costa adeje and I can say this is the best !!! 5 stars for the animation in the evening , great fun with the grease show , 5 stars for the bedroom (396 was very quiet but the fridge was dead) ) , 5 stars for the food ( I found some chef who can use propely the salt and pepper making the food tasty ) , 5 stars for the variety of the food , 5 stars for the swimming pool (one of the best swimming pool in costa adege). Some people would answer .. we get a better 5 stars hotel in the city . I answer to them "okay but it would cost £500 more per person for 5 nights " This hotel is very cheap for a 5 stars hotel and I extremely recommend to anybody who want to have a quiet holiday , next to all shops and 4 minutes walk away from the beach .
“Very helpful!”
We had a wonderful time! Staff was very helpful and friendly!
“Costa Adeje Gran Hotel perfect for family break to Tenerife”
We stayed at the Gran hotel for a week B&B status with our almost 3 year old daughter. The hotel was beautiful, really stunning and a genuine 5 star hotel. the service from the staff was great. Very friendly and very child friendly too. out of the 3 ground floor pools (we didn't go to the roof pool) one was heated almost like a bath which was glorious, one wasn't heated and the baby pool was lightly heated. There were always sunbeds available., and we didn't usually get down to the pool until after lunch. The animation team were great, not pushy in your face but friendly and encouraging so that we even joined in a few pool games. The kids club is brilliant, a really nice playground on sand all sealed off and only accessed through one gate that is locked from the outside. Mini disco was probably my favourite bit, all the kids got involved and it was a really good laugh. the evening entertainment after disco was great too everynight and the animation team took all the kids to the front of the stage so the adults could sit back and enjoy their drinks. The resort of Costa Adeje was nice but if i go back I would go half board or all inc. with the hotel as restaurants were on average a 10 minute walk away and not that cheap (with a 2 year old). The beaches were stunning, the sea was warm and even the monarch flights were good! All round a thumbs up.
“Great hotel, great location, lovely staff”
We're just back from a week in Tenerife, staying at the Costa Adeje Gran Hotel and we can't fault it. The hotel was lovely, the staff really helpful and the resort itself was great, with lovely restaurants and shops. Our room was immaculate and cleaned every day, regardless of the time we left it. The breakfast buffet was really nice too. Highly recommended.
“Beautiful Location - Horrible Customer Service”
Gorgeous location just five minutes from the beach and the boardwalk. High end/Five star part of the island. Lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is beautiful. Three pools (although their hours are only from 10am to 5 pm). Island is gorgeous. The downside is the complete lack of customer service. I speak German (the majority of the tourists are German), English, French and Spanish. Regardless of the language, there was not one person who was willing to help me. They had no concept of helping someone, which is ridiculous, especially in a five star hotel and the tourist industry. Additionally, the food was nothing short of horrendous, especially in light of it being a five star hotel. If you decide to stay here, don't get the inclusive packages as there are many restaurants and bars within a stone's throw of the hotel as well as the boardwalk. In the end, if you want, you can always eat at the restaurant, but I wouldn't recommend it. Finally, be careful when asking for anything larger than a single bed. Their "queen" beds turned out to be two single beds, which were on wheels and kept rolling apart.
“Gran Hotel - Costa Adeje”
5 star it's not - Bargain it is! This hotel sets all the external impressions of being gran however, much of that is only skin deep. The rooms feel tired, ours smelled of smoke which the maid could do nothing to stop (changing the bedding may have helped but wasn't offered), you can hear all the snoring, TV, loos flushing from next door etc. and as a 4 star you'd be expecting this but as a 5 it's just not good enough. That said, everyone is friendly, it's well located and it's a really cheap (not much money) 5 star (4 really). If you compare it to the hotels further down in Adeje that are clearly true 5 stars and 3 times the price. so you get what you pay for. Breakfast is ok, although we are very glad we only went B&B as any more of the canteen style food would have been too much. Yes I'd go again, with the kids and knowing that it's a bargain, if it were just the wife and me, we'd go to the Mirador or somewhere like that.
“Great hotel in costa adeje”
Room was a good size, bathroom huge with two sinks. We had a mountain view which we enjoyed. Breakfast was good quality and there was a wide selection of food. Rooms were well sound proofed. Balcony also enjoyable. One of the pools was heated, all pools were well designed and clean. All staff were friendly, good service received from everyone.
“would go back”
This holiday was booked for myself and my daughter. The flights were on time and ran smoothly with good service on board. The hotel was lovely and had everything we needed. We felt very safe in Costa Adeje and the surrounding areas which is important for two women on their own. We would like to make this an annual trip as it was lovely to have some sun before the winter really sets in.
