“Just what we were looking for”
Nice hotel, quiet and chilled. Very nice views.

“Barcelo Santiago”
We stayed at the Barcelo Santiago in Oct-Nov 2011. It's a really pleasant hotel, very good rooms with nice beds, bathrooms and balconies. The hotel buffet breakfast is excellent with lots of choice of cooked, continental, fruit, juices and coffees. The hotel pools are great, a good size and with a fantastic view of Los Gigantes rocks. You can relax on one of the many loungers with a great view of the coastline and impressive rocks. I'd recommend the Barcelo Santiago with no hesitation, we really enjoyed our stay.
“barcy in october”
If like my wife and I you are over 40 and just looking for the Sun in the winter and a peaceful and relaxing Hotel than this is it,The food is some of the best you will ever get on an all inclusive package and although the rooms are a little dated they are kept very clean.90% of the staff are friendly and 100% are courteous and helpful,P.S. Don't go to santiago if you are looking for a wild time just a chill time
“Great location, great hotel.”
Lovely hotel and staff. The location is spectacular and as long as you get a room at the front the rooms are bright and sunny. The food was very good and always hot and fresh but not stunning. Cleanliness was also excellent and I liked the fact that they gave you new botttles of water every day. Some rooms are very small so checking your room before you accept it. It is a pity the Lod Gigantes beach is still closed but Arena beach is noce but swimming is seldom allowed during the winter months as the waves are very wild. Hotel evening entertainment was pretty basic but the daytime activites were good fun and run by enthusiastic staff.
“Lovely hotel, shame about the noise!!....”
This is the first time we booked to stay in a hotel in Tenerife, as we usually stay in relatives apatments in Los Gigantis. However as a nice week away (without the kids!) We thought this hotel looked lovely. It is as lovely as it looks in the pictures too, lovely setting over looking the sea, tasteful interior in rooms, and generally nice and modern. If you are lucky enough to get a room over looking the sea you are laughing, however, here's the down part. We got a room over looking the road,( which actually had a beautiful view of the mountains and marina) but also had directly accross the road, possibly the loudest bar in Tenerife called route 66. We were on the 7th floor and every night till at least 12.30 sometimes 1am, we might as well have had the band set up in the corner of our room, it was that loud, even with th tv on and doors closed. We did complain to reception who were completly unhelpful, and told us the hotel was full, or we could pay for an upgrade! The hotel was 100% not full, and we just put up with it in the end. The rest of the stay was lovely, the spa in particular was amazing, and we had some lovely treatments, The resturant we only used for breakfast, but it had a massive selection of food, and was very nice. When we checked out after our stay, we asked the question regarding complaints about route 66. Our reply from the reception was 'we have complaints all the time, we have sent police down to turn down the music, but it just keeps going'.
“Loved it”
A clean and well run hotel, fabulous views and a fantastic pool area. Plus the food was wonderful
