We had 3 nights at Linareva which we enjoyed a lot. We had just been at the Hilton for a little more luxury, but enjoyed our stay on the West side of Moorea. The fares are great, we used the kitchenette to prepare meals, and it was nice to have our own private space. The owner's are very friendly and helpful, Roland was great for advice and help. I snorkeled off the pier, and the reef has a lot of fish, plus there are the reef and nurse sharks in the evening time! We had a car which helped to get around. Otherwise using the bikes and the kayaks was good fun. We took an ATV tour which we would recommend, it was a lot of fun and we saw a lot of the interior of the island. We ate at Coco d'Isle, Le Sunset, and Daniel's Pizza, and can recommend all of them. All up a great trip and we can recommend Linareva as a great place to stay. We are already planning our next trip to Tahiti!
I had a great time relaxing at Kaveka. It is very beautiful there on the water of cooks bay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are great. The atmosphere is great!! There is a lot to do around close by too!!! I would stay again

The best hotel stay ever! The service level of this hotel excels all expectations. The rooms, beds, grounds and facilities were all clean, beautiful, comfortable and relaxing! The staff was cheerful and helpful in every way. We loved the bungalows and enjoyed the over water bungalow in particular. The crystal clear water of the lagoon was the best snorkeling possible. Loved it!
Great hotel and fantastic staff. The local barbecue joint across the street from the resort was the best meal we had in all of Polynesia. If you go snorkeling around the bungalows watch out for the sea urchins...they are everywhere!

This hotel has all the amenities and activities you could wish for at a sea resort. Take the Ameriti 2 ferry to cross from Papeete to Moorea - safe and fast and you get to see stuff. The hotel concierge desks run 7 days a week and are very helpful. They will book whatever you need, including arranging ferry/hotel/ferry transport.Take the ATV quad bike tour for a real treat to see Moorea. Resort offers excellent safe snorkeling and kayaking around the lagoons, plus a host of other payable water activities for the more adventurous. The food was great too and the service outstanding.
Will go back again. Expensive yes, but leave the budget at home - allow for $300-$400 per day for food and beverages, and for activities such as diving, jet boating etc more.
Stayed at the Hotel hibiscus on 23 October 2012. Great family owned hotel, owners were very friendly and accommodating. Great food selection at the Sunset restaurant. We stayed in a bungalow with ocean view. Very relaxing and my husband and I wished we spent more time in Moorea island. If we do come back, it will be Moorea and will stay again at Hotel Hibiscus.
This is by far one of the most beautiful places on the planet. We recommend you take a cab to the Champion food market just 5 minutes away from the hotel by the Ferry station right away and buy some groceries, juices and alcohol, otherwise you'll be paying premium prices for everything at the resort. The dive shop is alright but Top Dive shop at the hilton is way better and they offer the Sting ray experience as part of your dive. We highly highly recommend the overwater bungalows. The only horrible thing about the hotel is their lack of wifi. Don't spend your money buying their wifi-per-hr service as it will take you an hr just to log on, it's super slow and crashes every 5 minutes. Aside from that, this hotel offers the most incredible beach on the whole island. Would go back in a heartbeat.. Ps. Don't forget Allo Pizza!!! Their Tuna Pizza w Cream sauce is to die for..Maururu!
