Wait to book this property until the last minute!! I booked in advance and paid $400 a night but my daughter booked right before and paid $160 a night for the same room. Very variable rates and you can not cancel or change the reservations at all!! This is a charming hotel just a block from the gondola. Breakfast was lovely, it was clean, but we didn’t have any soap to wash our hands after going to the bathroom.

LOCATION, just 1.5 blocks to gondola, close enough to run back for lunch. AMENITIES, packed into a small lot there was an adequate breakfast, small hot tub, and a wonderful fire pit with great views of the slopes in late afternoon to see final skiers (boarders)coming down. EASY walking access to downtown, one block, full of great restaurants, that fit everyone's taste and budget. I saw complaints about age and price, our single queen room was LARGER than we expected, good for all our gear. The staff worked diligently to keep up with housekeeping and maintenance. In a town like Telluride I am sure it is hard to find any staff that can afford to live there or are willing to drive 1.5 hours to get to work. COST, yes it is expensive, I don't ususally stay in $300 pn hotels, but I knew this was the best deal around ( the hostel 16 miles away topped $250 pn for a private room and that was close to nothing) Telluride is an exclusive resort, it is surprising the Victorian Inn has not been bought out to be a boutique hotel, then we'd have no-where to stay, b/c there are no Holiday Inn's close by, nor the land to build em. My only complaint was being a dog friendly hotel, we walked into our room one night and the mustly smell of dog was very strong and overwhelming.

We loved the location. Close to all the restaurants and bars but still quiet. About 1-2 blocks from the main Gondola. Super easy walk to EVERYTHING!!! We used the hot tub every night, we were the only ones there on a busy ski weekend. Quite location. Small breakfast, coffee, fruit, sausage, eggs, yogurt, and oatmeal. They made our bed up every day. Brought us fresh towels. We would definitely stay again. This is a nice mom and pop place. Not super fancy but has everything you need.

You get what you pay for. It is conveniently located and one of the few affordable places in Telluride. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, hot tub water ended up with a pond scum stench by the end of the week, house keeping skipped servicing our room a few times, front desk staff are very abrupt.

This was a substandard property in almost every way. Upon checking in, the front desk was in complete disaray with boxes blocking half of the seating area. I thought it may have been a delivery, but when I went I the next morning, all the boxes were still there blocking the same area. Either they didn’t care or they didn’t want to move/unpack them. In either case, this was not a good first impression. Then there was the room. It was below average for a Super 8 Motel. Power outlets were literally falling off the wall and a fire hazard waiting to happen. Another outlet had a 3-outlet converter plugged into an already overloaded 2x outlet. Then there was the drawers. Two of the four drawers had coolers in them for the summer season (this was in February). Then there was the bathroom which was acceptable but just barely. Faucet on the shower/tub was loose and made keeping hot water inconsistent. Minor adjustments or even just accidentally hitting it caused either scalding water or an ice cold shower. Very finicky to say the least. The one aspect I will concede on is the location. We were finally able to park (parking in winter is challenging, but they did offer “Marshall” passes to park on the street without getting ticketed). Once we parked, we didn’t need to move until we left. The property is only a few minutes walk from the free gondola to Mountain Village and walking distance to anywhere in downtown Telluride.

Ratings for this property were extremely deceiving. This is more like a Motel 8 room you would find off the side of an obscure highway. From the room, carpet, to the dilapidated bathroom were dated from the 50s. We stayed here until our apartment rental for the week became available.

There was dirty underwear in the bathroom and dirty socks under the bed. The blanket was unusable! It was shredded, had holes in it and dried white something all over it. I was very cold the night I arrived without a blanket. I had to buy a blanket the next day day! I was there for 5 nights and was left only coffee for 3 nights. Terrible stains on the carpet!

i like the location and access to the gondola. the reason for my rating is because the room doesn’t have microwave and the tv isn’t working even the remote control. i like the heating though and it’s pretty cheap compared to other hotel nearby but still i think not worth the price for me. overall it’s still a goos stay

Great location, expensive!
This was more like a house converted into a bunch of little rooms. The rooms were done exceptionally well, and we’re very comfortable. The price of the hotel was extreme but it is Telluride. FYI, there is NO designated parking spots if you’re staying at this hotel.

Decent for the money, but room for improvement.
Decent room, good price for a short stay, but won't be staying again. - The room seemed to have no climate control. It felt too warm, especially at night. - The pillows were all lumpy and not comfortable to me. -The shower water temperature had a mind of it's own. It would fluctuate from hot to cold and made for an unenjoyable shower. - The bathtub was old with rust spots inside it and the toilet had very low pressure when flushing. - The employees were late to open the office one morning and late to set up the included breakfast. It's nice they offer breakfast, but being punctual with it would've gone a long way. The room was generally clean overall, and this place was well priced. The proximity to the Telluride gondola iamd Main St. is a plus. For the reasons above, however, I would recommend staying here.
