Very friendly hotel staff, Nancy and the day shift were always there to assist when needed. They will do anything they possibly can to make you comfortable. Overall, great experience and very affordable.

Nice motel in Ridgway

Posted 29-Sep-2013
Pros: As above, and fridge and microwave in room, coffee in room, very early breakfast for photographers wanting an early start (4:30 am), coffe all day.
Cons: Hot breakfast options, meat/eggs at breakfast, carpets dirty. Bathroom exhaust fans from other rooms are loud.
Location: 10 mi. from Ouray, town of Ridgway is an old west town, 45 min. from Telluride, Double RL ranch (Ralph Lauren's).
Helpful staff, good location near Ouray and Telluride, pool and hot tub.

Just say no!

Posted 11-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
Other than the guy checking us in at the desk, everything else was downhill. First off the WiFi was not working. When it came back up, it is obviously sub par. As more guests get on line, it finally bogs down to a standstill. The A/C is extremely loud and the cycling on and off only makes it worse. The bed is tired and needs replacing. Both of our backs were killing us the next morning. The continental breakfast consisted of cereal, a few bagels, and some cheap convenience store Danish. Another guest got the last available. I'm 67 and this the first time I've felt the need to comment on a hotel. You don't expect much at the "number" hotels. This was a $150.00 a night room and you expect more, much more. We were supposed to stay two nights but checked out after only one. This should be your last choice not first.

NEEDS SOME UPDATES

VERY POOR TV SERVICE, FEW CHANNELS AND RIGHT WING CONSERVATIVE INSTEAD OF NEUTRAL NEWS. HAD TO GET TOILET PAPER FOR BATHROOM. DESK CLERK A BIT GRUMPY.

Great location but overpriced

Posted 01-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
The location was fantastic but the hotel was overpriced for the quality. The continental breakfast was one of the worst I have ever seen, only cold cereal, bread and drinks.

my first one star motel

Posted 01-Sep-2012
Small musty room with 70s decor. I checked out 45 minutes later and got a much nicer room for$20 less in montrose, CO. Only a handful of cable channels with amost none of the usual. Staff was friendly but you will find much better choices for less in other nearby cities.

Clean, good price

Posted 17-Jul-2012
This is a pretty run-of-the-mill hotel. Our room did have a 4-cup coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. Breakfast was nothing special: cereal and toast. It's a fine place to sleep and shower, and the price was right.
