“"Wrong name for this hotel"”
We planed to be in Tel Aviv for one week, but after the period than we payed -3 days- we moved and changed to other hotel. In the Bell Boutique the room was bad. Not clean, so litlle. We cannot stay on the room because it hasn't place to be there! Even if it is in some good area, there are not elevator, and nobody helps us with the lugagge. We really sufered on this hotel, we were feeling than the information, photos and others about the hotel are not real. Please, not take influance of the name "Bell Boutique" because it is not honest. All the hotels in Tel Aviv are so expensive and not relation price- quality.
“Great location”
The breakfast is very tasty and the location is great. You can get the bus # 16 to the main station and take one train to the airport. The shopping is very reasonable. The laundry mat is 20 steps away. The hotel is finished renovating the the rooms are small but very modern, comfy and clean. I would go back in a heartbeat. If you travel by yourself you will feel very safe.
“Never again”
I have booked (amount charged) the Triple room - balcony sea view 2 weeks prior, and on arrival the manager said the room have been gave to another client, and for same money to accept an inner yard view double room with jacuzzi. I have been requested to accept or leave hotel. By the way, reception is on second floor, no elevator, and rooms start with third floor. Also, is not located on the beach, is one block away on main road, just in front of bus stop.
“Average”
The Bell Boutique is not a "boutique" hotel in the American sense. It is clean and a reasonably comfortable place to stay but I would not really recommend it. Both days I stayed there I was awoken by loud construction and the main shower did not work. The staff claimed they fixed it but on the second day it still wasn't working. Free internet is a nice perk and the proximity to the beach is very good. However, for the price I would stay elsewhere, maybe on a beach front hotel.
“"Tel Aviv's Best Kept Secret" Can't Wait To Return"”
I've stayed at The Bell Hotel many times. Each time was better than the last. The hotel is family run, with an excellent staff and manager. Daniel is the person in charge, and he really cares about his guests comfort. The rooms are all clean and furnished nicely. The entire hotel is very clean from top to bottom. You can tell that a lot of care goes into the running of this hotel. The staff were all polite and courteous and helpful. The location can't be beat. The hotel is within walking distance to all of the attractions, such as beach, stores, etc. This is a charming small hotel with a lot of character. It's what sets it apart form the highrise hotels in the area. If you're looking for a nice place to stay while in Tel Aviv, this hotel is the place to stay. If I didn't think so, I would not have come back and stayed again and again. If you take may advice and visit the Bell Hotel please say hello to Daniel for me. Tell him John will be back again soon for another stay.
“Look Elsewhere.”
Rabbit warren of tiny rooms. Everything under tarps for reconstruction project. Only stayed for two nights. Would have changed hotels if we had booked a longer stay.Great location. Unsatisfactory hotel.
“Don't go there!”
The convenience of the location was no compensation for the fact that the hotel was a building site, wrapped in scaffolding. We'd had no warning of this. Following a very late night arrival, we were awoken by hammering and drilling which continued throughout the day and left us without water when we were trying to dress for a wedding party. Breakfast was a mix of tasteless dishes comprising mainly eggs and the most appalling fruit juice we have ever tasted. Of the 6 rooms we had booked, the superior rooms were indeed, compared with the 2 standard doubles which didn't merit the name, they were cupboards with miniscule bathrooms and balconies which overlooked, well, least said - it wasn't pretty. The absence of a lift - were we informed of that? - completed the picture, three flights of stairs with heavy baggage are no joke.
“More than adequate”
The rooms are small, but the hotel has a great location, is family-run and very friendly, and has a nice breakfast buffet. For our one night there, it was perfect.
“An A+”
We stayed at The Bell Hotel for six nights had a wonderfully comfortable experience and stay. From the reviews we had read in advance we knew to call ahead to arrange for one of the larger rooms and to ask to stay on the west side of the building which offers a beautiful view of the sea. The location of the hotel is really terrific (just off the beach) and is in walking distance to many attractions in Tel Aviv. The staff at the Bell was very accommodating, breakfast was delicious every morning (great mini pancakes!) and the beds in the room were very comfortable. Bring your own toiletries, but you can shop for anything at a small grocer right down the street (on Allenby). If you have a car it is helpful to note that the Bell offers FREE parking in the tower directly across the street. This is a big bonus as most fancier hotels charge for parking! There is a fridge, air conditioning (which worked well and we readily used) and a flat screen TV in every room but we hardly ever turned that on. Also, they have very reasonable rates when using the phones in the room to dial internationally. It's not the Ritz but as far as B class hotels go the Bell is an A+ in my book! Thank you Bell!
“Do not stay here unless you can't find anything else in this price rnage”
The picture does not represent the true condition of this property, as is in poor condition relative to this picture. Business cannot be conducted in the room due to the size of the very tiny desk. The bathroom shower handle was broken, so no place to hang it for a shower. Street noise can be heard all night. Long stairs walk-up with your luggage - no elevator. Lobby on 2nd floor. The breakfast (included) was superb though and the wireless internet worked without problems.
