“would return...”
looking on the internet hotels and hostels appeared expensive.... but Tel Aviv is generally very expensive, the hotel has good facilities, pool / gym etc, reception is stylish and efficient, staff are friendly and attentive, even the cleaners etc. breakfast was 5 star.... hotel location is one block back from the beach and half way along the main beach. shops and all facilities are at hand, easy walking to most places, even Jaffa. i thought at first the price was high, but on consideration to Tel Aviv prices and hotel facilities, it was great, and free wifi through out the hotel. I work in travel so i have high expectations, here i was satisfied! value for money, great location!
“Pretty run down”
This hotel is currently undergoing renovations so my review might be obsolete in a short while, however, my stay there was pretty awful. The lobby was under construction when I arrived so they set up a makeshift reception area under a flight of stairs. First red flag. So it happens that that area WAS the lobby bar which they've moved up to a makeshift area on the mezzanine level. So they gave me a non renovated king bed room on the 11th floor. The room had one tiny narrow window in the corner which was broken and could not close. The place had a motel 6 feeling to it complete with the damp carpet moldy smell. The only saving grace was the breakfast which was pretty decent. This hotel might be worthwhile after the refurbishing takes place but for now, stay away.
“Excellent hotel near the beach.”
This is a very busy Hotel a block away from the North beach in Tel Aviv. The clientele is mostly foreign visitors. The front desk staff is multilingual and very corteous. I enjoyed my interaction with them. The breakfast buffet can get pretty busy at times with many people leaving on bus tours piling up in the rather small buffet area trying to get their food. The seating area has many tables and even a covered patio that is a lovely setting for a breakfast. The hotel parking is located on the basement. The front of the hotel is always busy with tour buses, but the rooms are clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable and clean and housekeeping is excellent. Overall it was a nice experience.
“Good value for money”
Largely a positive experience: - Staff was friendly and very helpful - Location one block from beach was very convenient - Decent gym for hotel of this price range - Nice pool - Good breakfast Only some minor negatives: - Housekeeping service slightly erratic, but was corrected on our request - Building feels a bit dated, though seems to be reasonably maintained
“Not worth what they charge”
We stayed in a suite (not by our choice, but few hotels accepted two small children in a standard room). The suite was large and tidy. However, it seemed a bit dated and small details missed --for example, the bath didn't have a proper plug, the safe box didn't work, and I had to report it twice before someone was sent to fix it (a day later after I first report it!). Be aware it gets very noisy at night, you can easily hear traffic, bin collectors, etc. The attitude of the staff was not the best, for example, they provide some free food/drinks at the lounge for the suites until 10:00pm, but my wife went at 10:05pm to ask for some milk for our 2 year old, only to be told the kitchen was now closed (computer says no!). My main complain about this hotel is the poor quality of the breakfast. The 'hot' meal (scrambled eggs) were always cold, and when I reported it nothing seemed to happen. I would have paid a bit more and get a better quality hotel --the difference was not that much.
“Clean, comfortable and good value”
Very good value for money. Large choice of good food at breakfast. Spacious and clean room. Good location.
“Convenient, comfortable”
This is a very comfortable hotel in a very convenient location--within walking distance to the places we wanted to go to and close to the beach. The buffet breakfast was excellent--great variety of everything you could possibly want for breakfast. One suggestion--the maid should leave a little extra toilet paper. It was barely enough for us. Also, we prefer a regular double bed, not 2 singles pushed together. Maybe some rooms offer this. I don't know.
“Great place to stay in Tel-Aviv”
Found the staff very friendly and helpful. Room was all you'd expect it to be and its only a 2 or 3 minute walk to the beach. Good value for money.
“It suits for the price...”
The rooms and especially the hallways look a bit shabby and are in need of a make-over. The beds and bathrooms were fine. Clean. I had a room on one of the corners; those have small windows.
“Not Very Impressed for the Value”
Good for the price.good location,o lot of restaurants near, but the are better hotels near for the same Price $$ and closed to the beach
