“Telaviv's best hotel”

If a had to critisize anything it would be that there was too much light in the room coming from; TV, radio alarm, airconditioning dial and through the bedroom door. Towels and 'post it's' greatly helped. (The door is too small for the frame). But overall pleased with service and hotel standard. We will use this hotel again!

Area recommendations

The Dizengoff is great, nearly all shopping malls are good too. I just love the beach and its friendly atmosphere and if youre there over shabbat/saturday then don't miss the dancing on the promenade. You can't leave TLV without visiting a museum - Any one will do

“The only exceptional aspect about the TLV Hilton is the Concierge named Ariel.”

This is an over-hyped 3 star hotel that charges as if they actually knew what they were doing. The only 5 Star player in that place is the Concierge named Ariel. The guy is a pleasure. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is right, yet the hotel isn’t anywhere near his level. Why do they bother to put fruit in your room if it’s ALWAYs rotten and inedible? Why is the food so repugnant??? The rooms are falling apart (yes even the newly fitted ones) and yet they charge as if they were the 4-Seasons they aren’t… The place is clearly running off of their reputation from 30 yrs ago…

“5 star rooms, 2 star service”

I had 3 different rooms in 3 days. The first room I was given was not in the right category. I complained and was given the correct room the next day. This room was extremely loud as it was next to the executive lounge and you could hear every sound from the kitchen / pantry. I complained again and was given the perfect room on the 3rd day. The hotel was very responsive in terms of my complaints, but never aplogised or offered compensation. I was charged the full price for all nights. Generally the hotel staff is arrogent ("we are the best hotel in town"), argumentative and unaware of today's 5 star service levels. In summary, the rooms look great, the location is perfect, but the due to the lack of service and arrogant staff it is not a hotel I can recommend. Stay somewhere else, you will have a lot better value for money.

“Over priced”

I expected to be staying at "the best" hotel in Tel Aviv and was disappointed and felt robbed of the money we paid for a double room in low season without breakfast! We had a standard room on a high floor with views over the sea promenade, the room needed renovation and the bathroom was really tiny. It was more like being in at a basic three star hotel except we paid for five star! I would not recommend this hotel and certainly to any discerning travellers.

“Prepare to pay for every little thing---”

A fine hotel, but the costs add up--charges ($15/day for gym; $20/day for internet; etc.) The costs in the restaurant are equally high, and the choices limited. I'd expect I might stay in another hotel next trip, just to have more alternatives for meals, and maybe better fees for other services---
