“Fantastic Location-will be back”
Very central-walking distance from everything and a bus station out the front door. Staff were extremely friendly and helpfull Rooms were serviced every 3 days and supplies were handed out whenever required
“Fantastico”
Very good service, briliant location, the best deal for tel aviv
“Interesting place”
Well the studio is superbly furnished, with 2 small exceptions, considering that I arrived late on the Friday.. There was no sort of welcome pack at all. Some milk may have been extremely welcome for tea/coffee making purposes. It took me a long while to find somewhere to get a few basics.. The double bed, has 2 single mattress's which made it uncomfortable to sleep on. Would I stay here again, most likely no, because while the location was fantastic, and the facilities were superb, it was quite a bit more expensive, and so in my view not worth it.
“highly recommended, but try to return your rented car ASAP”
Very nice, cosy renovated Ben Yehuda apartments with new IKEA furniture. Kitchinette was very helpful. Tea-coffee bags for free as much as you want. We got a coupon for free breakfast at CafeCafe across the street. Very friendly guy at the reception. 3 minute walk to the beach. The only problem is where to park your car. There is only one expensive parking lot across the street and absolutely no place to park somewhere else. Don't even try to park your car along the street - you will be in trouble for sure (red lines everywhere). We paid 88 shekels for 2 days at the parking lot ($ 36). When we arrived about 9.30 pm on Thursday and started looking for the right entrance to the building our car was evacuated in 30 seconds with all the suitcases. The penalty was 260 shekels ($80 ), we got it back in a half an hour.
“Spot on”
This is one of the most positive experiences I've had staying in a hotel - it's great value, it's in a top location, the guys working there are friendly, endlessly helpful and very knowledgeable, and the rooms are clean and comfortable, with free internet access (essential if you want to keep up with what's going on in the city). It's a great base for exploring Tel Aviv, and allows you to be much more independent than if you were staying at a 'regular' hotel. Highly recommended - I'll definitely be staying here next time I'm in TLV.
“"You are in the center"”
"You are in the center". That's what the hotel guy said when we arrived. He was right. Sitting right between the best beach and the busiest pedestrian shopping/dining areas, near the malls, near the best restaurants, best public transit right on the curb, taxis avail 24 hours, grocery on the corner, big city park a block away -- right in the center. Now, you have to be pretty independent to stay at the Apartments, because you are on your own the whole time, does that sometimes have its advantages? The office is hard to find on check in (not at all where you think it would be), you may not see another staff member for days, and the traffic is noisy in this area. Otherwise, "You are in the center" and you'll be safe, comfortable, and frugal there.
“Cheap and cheerful”
These apartments are so close to the sea that we went there every day. The bathroom could have been cleaner but no complaints elsewhere and would definitely stay here again.
“Great location, comfy bed”
A great place to stay. Really near the beach and shops and restaurants. Try a restaurant called Shila further up the road (number 180, I think) - the food is stunning. Cute breakfast place across the road.
“Appalling”
The Ben Yehuda Apartments own two blocks 119 and 121 We were put into 121. The building is filthy and on the exterior looks as if it has corners falling off.Our room was filthy. The dust on the carpets could be scraped up with a knife. The water heater was on a timer and you had to wait 40 minutes for hot water. The bath was half size with a notice saying it was dangerous to stand to take a shower. The air conditioner was also on a timer and when switched on huge chunks of dirt fell out all over the bed.I have pictures to show this. Because of jewish closing times and holidays we had to have the same towels for three days because the office was not open. There is no maid service. The Windows were all so dirty that you could hardly see out. We lost our luggage on the way there and so we were afraid to move in case it did not get to us. The other building looked better.
“Impossible to Find this Hotel”
We drove past this place three times, then parked, walked, asked directions, and finally found someone to phone for us. The address given is for an optometrist's office, and a few words of advice to go BEHIND this office would've decreased our hassle. The place was safe enough, but our rental car was broken into not far away, and the staff was distinctly lacking in helpfulness regarding our needs after the theft. No one was in the office at the arrival time we had arranged, and parking was not available. A rough start to our trip.
