"New Hall B&B excellent"
A bit hard to find, Stop, ask for directions at the petrol/food store in Tarporley. Although getting lost in the beautiful countryside was a pleasure as we got to see the beautiful estates, persistence was rewarded by finding this exquisitely renovated 1880's farm. Opened in November of 2013 it was beautifully remodeled from the top to the bottom. When we arrived we were greeted by the hostess with tea and coffee, home baked tea cakes, and a warm and friendly chat. After a quiet night's sleep, the morning breakfast was beautifully presented in the downstairs dining room with choices of fruits (raspberries, blueberries, grapefruit, etc.) cold cereals, porridge if desired (oatmeal), juices, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and our choices of bacon, sausage, eggs cooked any way we wanted, toast, baked goods, mushrooms, tomato, or salmon and some other offerings. Dinner at the Yew Tree Inn a mile west was delicious. Just a wonderful place and atmosphere.
