“ホテルは空港から比較的近く、タクシーでスマートに行けます。”

尊爵大飯店(Monarch Plaza Hotel)について 一人で使うには十分な広さのきれいな部屋で、シャンプー、歯ブラシ、かみそりなどのアメニティも充実しており、良かったと思います。 窓からの景色は、高層マンションの建ち並ぶ無骨な景色ですが、これも台湾らしくていいかと思います。 部屋には、２日とも、ウェルカムフルーツとクラッカーがおいてあり、大変良かったです。ミネラルウォター付きで薬を飲んだり、部屋でコーヒーやお茶を入れるにも助かります。 今回は九分観光がメインでした。九分への行き方も丁寧に教えていただき、ありがとうございます。 ホテル周辺は、コンビニ、公園、市場、桃園県庁などがある市街中心部です。 若干、ターミナル駅へのアクセスは不利ですが、台北行きのバス停がホテル前にあり、タクシーもすぐつかまるので、問題ないと思います。 若干、混雑時のタクシーの手配が煩雑なのが気になる点ですが、 それ以外は、特に問題ないと思います。 朝食のバイキングは、いろいろあって良かったですが、二泊でほとんど同じメニューだったので、日替わりメニューがあるとうれしいですね。 ドリンクサービス券もあったのですが、使いたい時間帯に営業していなかったので使えず残念でした。

ホテルの近所の情報が少ないようなので、 桃園のホテル周辺の紹介です。 1.中正路沿いの屋台、市場、商店 ホテルと台鉄桃園駅（桃園火車站）は、歩いて１時間強の距離（4～5km,タクシーで10分/180圓）ですが、台鉄桃園駅（桃園火車站）駅前からの中正路沿いの屋台、市場、商店が、台北市街とはひと味違った味わいがあって良いです。夜市もやっています。 食料品、衣服、飲食店が多く、台湾のソウルフードやネイティブファッション、ペット用品、電化製品など、いろいろなものがあります。 台鉄桃園駅（桃園火車站）前には、三越もあります。 2.景福宮 台鉄桃園駅（桃園火車站）から北800mぐらいの場所にあります。 台湾ならではの、カラフルな仏教寺院で、桃園県でもっとも大きな寺院です。長いお線香を立てて、迎来百福（多くの福が来ますように）、掃追千災（多くの災難が来ませんように）を祈願しましょう。 ちなみに、日本でおなじみの、般若心経、南無阿弥陀仏、各御真言なども唱えられています。 3.ホテル近所の市場・飲食店・公園 ホテル前や周辺に複数コンビニがあり、便利です。（OK,セブンイレブン、ファミリーマート(全家)） 歩いて、1km以内にも市場があり、台湾料理が味わえます。 ホテル周辺には多くの公園があり、緑がたくさんあります。
Getting there
ホテルは、 桃園国際空港から、タクシーで～30分程度です。 金額は、空港迎車料と高速料金込みで300圓（小荷物）～500圓（20kg程度の大荷物）程度となります。 在来線の「桃園火車站」は、4～5km程度です。 （金額は 180圓～200圓程度です） 新幹線の「高鐵桃園站」は5～6km程度です。 （金額は 300圓程度です） ホテル前に、台北市街行きのの高速バスがあります。
Getting around
（鉄道） 桃園駅は、二つありますので注意してください。 在来線の「桃園火車站」 新幹線の「高鐵桃園站」 （Taoyuan stasion では、どちらか分らないので意図しない方に行ってしまうかも...） 使い分け方として、 在来線の「桃園火車站」 自強号、苔光号、復興号、各駅停車の電車に乗るのに便利です。 一般乗車券と特急乗車券で約1.5倍程度価格が違います。（自強号で台北～桃園で66圓程度です） 九分最寄りの瑞芳駅や、台東、花連方面に行くには、便利な駅です。 新幹線の「高鐵桃園站」 新幹線で台中、高雄方面に向かうのに便利です。自強号の約倍（150圓程度）の価格です。 この駅は、一時間２本程度停車します。 （日本で言うこだま停車駅で、東海道新幹線の岐阜羽島駅や東北新幹線の小山駅のような感じ） 桃園中心街から離れているため、台北からホテルだと在来線のほうがおすすめです。 （タクシー） タクシーでは、英語や日本語が通じない場合が多いです。 空港発タクシーは通じる場合が多いですが、 町を流しで走っているものは、英語や日本語が通じないことも多いです。 （注意事項） ※台湾語ができない人は、紙に行き先を書いたカードを準備しておくことをお薦めします。 迷子にならないように、ホテル名と、ホテルの住所を、台湾語で書いたカードを必ず持ちましょう。

※台湾語の出来ない方は、行き先を、台湾語で書いたカード （ホテル名とホテルの住所が書かれたカードは必携） ホテルのアメニティは充実しています。（シャンプー、リンス、ローション、髭剃り、歯ブラシ、綿棒、コットン、シャワーキャップ、バスローブなど）は、完備されています。 傘 （ホテルでも借りることができます） 出かけるときに晴れていても、桃園、台中、九分、高雄・・・では全然天気が違います。 時間によって突然雨となります。
Must see
台湾では「究極のB級グルメ」と、おいしい「お茶」が楽しめます。 ＊台北市街（地下街、夜市、淡水など） グルメと買い物が楽しめます。 台北から地下鉄淡水線を終点までのれば、きれいな海の景色が見えます。テレサテンのPVで見かけるあの海の景色です。 ＊九分 あの千と千尋の神隠し（油屋以外）のイメージどおりの場所です。 立体的で趣のある景色です。海から山まで見えます。 千尋のお父さんやお母さんが豚になってしまったように、おいしいグルメが味わえます。 お土産に、台湾名産の美味しいお茶はいかがですか？ 定番のウーロン茶、プーアル茶や目で見ても綺麗で砂糖を入れなくても甘いお茶もあります。
Shopping
（九分） お茶と屋台料理がおすすめです。 「外帯苺盆」（外は寒天状・中は肉まん状で、中華風のたれをかけて食べます）は特におすすめです。 中華風おしるこもいいです。 （台北駅の地下街） 萌、電脳（電子部品、パソコン、ゲームソフト、CD/DVD、携帯電話）、食などいろいろあります。 （台北の夜市） 特に「土林夜市」（地下鉄淡水線、剣澤駅前）がおすすめです。 大きなフライドチキン、おいしい果物の屋台、肉料理、・・・・食べきれないほど味わえます。 夜のお寺もいいですね。 （桃園の中正路） 地方ならではの、ソウルフードをボリューム満点にget & eatできます。 （空港第二ターミナル） セキュリティエリア外だと、1階に日本のキオスクのようなお土産屋さんや回転寿司などがあります。また、上階の方にコーヒーショップなどもあります。 セキュリティエリア内は、充実した免税店があります。各有名ブランドや、からすみなどの魚介類や、携帯電話も売っています。
Dining
食事は、屋台料理、鍋料理、飲茶の店がおすすめです。 特に、B級グルメは抜群においしいです。 横浜、神戸、長崎の中華街の規模を遙かに超え、全部中華街になったような場所です。 日式の店も多く、CoCo壱番屋のカレー、吉野家の牛丼、回転寿司など、いつでも、日本食も味わえます。 甘党も、辛党も、ベジタリアンも満足できるグルメタウンです。

“台北郊外の優良ホテル”

台北からはかなり離れた場所にあるが親切でサービスも良く、安心して落ち着けるホテル。夜市にも繰り出せる場所なのでそこを観光ルートに考える人には問題なくお勧め。値段もリーズナブル。

“２回目はないでしょう？”

朝食は　ローカルもしくは中国の方向けのメニュー。 ご飯（はあったが、パサパサで美味しくなかった。　メニューが少ない。 フロントは日本語がほとんど通じない。 全体的にメンテナンスが行き届いてい。 寝具は良かったが、どう見ても、５スターでは無く、３スターレベルである。 浴室の浴槽の狭さ・化粧台のアメニティーの無さ。 バスタオルはくすみ、清潔さに疑問を感じる。 部屋の内容から判断すると、３スターが相当と思われる。 場所的な事から判断しても、値段だけは５スターであった。 部屋のエアコンがうるさい。就寝時には止める必要あり。
