After reading some pretty negative reviews, we were a bit nervous about our 3 night stay at Atlas les Almohades. However, we couldn't have made a better choice. We loved the swimming pool and the beach room. The breakfast was delicious and offered a lot of options. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Our safe wasn't working when we arrived, but it was repaired within 24 hours. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and would recommend this hotel to friends.

Excellent staff, who greeted us after a long days travel. The room was above expectations. The outlook over the beach was very nice& the nearby restaurents were fine. The hotel is well located near the train station.
The staff were very welcoming and hotel itself had a very warm and home from home feeling. The amenities were good, the swimming pool was perfect not over sized. Breakfast was superb with huge variety and choice, which was great, especialy as I had three young boys with me. The location is fantastic! Everything was easily accessable, shops, banks places to visit etc. Finaly it was great that the beach was so close by. I was able to relive some child hood memories of the area without too much effort.

I was visiting Tangiers to get some writing done. I wanted peace, comfort (including air conditioning), good facilities, and adequate food. I also wanted to smoke in my room. On the basis of the reviews I had read when deciding on a hotel in Tangiers, I had not expected good service. My expectations were met. The desk staff were very poorly informed and sometimes rude and unhelpful. The dining staff was pleasant enough but not well disciplined. The food was good. Because of its location away from the city center (though on the beach) and also perhaps its reviews, there were few tourists. Most of the guests were Moroccans and those who were not were primarily businesspeople with cell phones (no international calls from the room.) The decor was aggressively modern/non-traditional. No one speaks English (I managed with my reasonably fluent French).
We stayed during Ramadan and so it was quiet with us being the only ones for breakfast which was continental style and OK. Room and staff were good but hotel is good 5 minute taxi ride from centre although taxis are cheap. Did not eat in reastaurant except breakfast. All in all a please t one night stay although Tangiers in not for us
