“Friendly Service”

I had a pleasant stay at the TownePlace Suits by Marriott. Erica at the Front Desk was extremely helpful in giving directions and recommending places to eat. I found that all of the staff that I interacted with were either very helpful or friendly. I would stay at the TownePlace Suites again.

“Tampa's best extend stay with reasonable prices!!!!!!”

I would refer anyone to this hotel and to use expedia!!!! Expedia gave me the best rates than any other website and they also found me the hotel I was looking for in short notice when other sites were telling me everything was booked. I am deffinetly happy with my expierence and I will be using expedia and the hotel again for future visits. I have already recommended them to other people I know going out of town.

“A normal stay.”

The stay was normal and pleasant. I believe that for the price charged the breakfast offered was limited and brief. Sometimes I woke up early, and had no chance to grab a cupcake or even coffee. With the kitchen inside the room , this feature helps alot when you travel with kids. The fact that the entrance door to the room area is keyed is a very good feature for privacy and security. Nothing is perfect, overall if you are tired from the park visit and you need to sleep quietly. This place will work for you. Gas, restaurants and fast food places are near. The neighborhood is secluded and quiet. I arrived sometimes late in the evening and the environment was the same as day time. I would recommend the place for families with kids. One last thing, their no smoking policy was a blessing to us.

Area recommendations

Essentially we focused on Busch Gardens Park but near by are streets where you can shop or dine out . Gas stations where also very accesible. One thing which I appreciated much was the fact to find a mailbox right outside the property on the street. Usually in hotel areas there are no mailboxes around. To send a postcard, that is convenient.

“Only for long haul truckers!”

Booked this rapidly after getting a phone call regarding grave illness with my father. Myself and my 3 children flew over from Houston area to Tampa. I have family in Tampa & Bandon and my father was in hospice located in Sun City- I booked this hotel based on it being a "Marriott" hotel, the convience to the interstate to travel between Tampa and Sun City and that the rooms were large enogh to accomidate our family togeher. It was awful, it smelled like smoke,the bed was old and uncomfortable, furniture not clean looking. It did have a full kitchen with the essentials for a long stay. They were very accomidating when I spoke to management the next morning- we moved to another Marriott property as quickly as possible.

“Nice Hotel Great Price”

We stayed here for the night when we drove up to Busch Gardens in Tampa. It is not very far from the park and is a great hotel for the price. Clean sheets and friendly staff.
