“Pleasantly surprised!”

I wanted a really nice room for my girlfriend and I when we visited Tampa so I was disappointed that all of the rooms at the Hardrock were booked. While searching online the Holiday Inn Express looked adequate so i unenthusiastically booked there. When we got there we were both happy to find the hotel and room far exceeded our expectations in appearance and service for a third of what we would have paid at the Hardrock.

“Just Okay”

Beds were not not comfortable, felt kinda used. Indentation in bed where guest have laid. Food was not good for breakfast.

stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, nice, helpful, and courteous staff. fitness center needs to be a bit bigger though than only 3 cardio machines. noticed something in the room on the floor sticky, probably a spilled food that caked..overall though if i would to stay in tampa again i would stay at this hotel, good for the price, nice breakfast in am, clean, quiet....close to busch gardens..

“Will use this hotel again.”

I was very concerned that the bed may have bed bugs. It was room 223 and it was the bed next to the window. I itched both nights that I stayed there.

Area recommendations

This was located across the street from Bush Gardens, but you have to walk all the way around to the entrance which was very far. The shuttle doesn't run often enough to get the "full" day at the park. It would be nice if it ran upon request since the park will call the hotel to pick up the guest from the park.

“Great location and convenient to our destination”

We checked in after leaving a long day at Busch Gardens, and the front desk person was great and very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, and after a long day it made for a restfull night. Anyone that needs a great place if you are going to Busch Gardens Tampa, this is great choice.

“Great for Busch Gardens weekend”

The Holiday Inn was in a great location for Busch Gardens. The free shuttle helped cut down on costs since we didn't pay for parking. I was shocked at how large and comfortable the rooms were. Free breakfast was good but very crowded. It would be helpful if it lasted longer than 9:30 am.

“Good location, Ok value, acceptable employees”

The front desk helper was adament about the direction of Busch Garden's entrance with flick of his chin. He gave us the opposit direction. It would have beeen easier to swallow if he had been nice.

Area recommendations

Don't waste your time on Stilt Walker at Busch Gardens.
