“Great location for events at Times forum”

I was bumped from a KIng bed to two doubles and told that they couldn't honor that request. The room was booked well in advance as a king- not a secondary "request to be honored." Hotel was otherwise fine. Cheap furniture but OK. Excellent location for events aty the Forum. The only restaurant is a sandwich/ pizza/ salad shop.

“Can't Complain!!”

Me and my girlfriend went over this pass weekend to celebrate our one year together and the hotel blew our mind. Even though we only spent one night in a king suite we wanted to stay longer. The food was great in the morning and it does'nt stop till 11 a.m! The price is very fair also.

“perfect setting”

great location for a sporting venue at the nearby st pete times forum. only a few minutes away. was able to use TICO train to get to nearby Ybor City at a cheap rate per day. Breakfast at hotel was great and Trolley Bar had good food and spirits. staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants and bistros within walking distance. Riverwalk was great. Highly satisfied with location and services

“Fantastic Hotel and staff”

Excellent location near the St. Pete's Times Form (NHL). Hotel staff, layout and enviroment is excellent. A very nice touch with the Manager's special (free Happy Hour from 5:30 to 7:30). The free breakfast in the morning with custom made omlettes is first class. It is a short walk to the the aquariam, Hattrick's (great sports bar) and about a 25 minute walk up Franklin St. on to PolkSt. to the Tampa Museum of Art. Franklin is a beautiful St. once past the sports bar. The hotel should be pround of its staff and service.

Area recommendations

See Ybor City. The street car takes right into the heart of this city in a city. The history of it is great. See the video at the tourist information Centre in Ybor.

“Harbour Island central.....”

Arrived late Friday for a 2 night stay. Staff was friendly,helpfull, went out ot their way to make our stay pleasent. Room was as any Embassy Suite hotel. Breakfast was good,although there could be more seating,as there was a wait for tables on the weekend. The happy hour was good as well. The $20 valet parking was ok but kinda pricey. Overall, I would stay there again and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay downtown. Right next to the hockey palace,a beautifull view of the harbour,10 mins away from Ybor City and a trolley station directly across from the hotel.
