“pretty good service!”

Not enough bang for the buck. For the price it could have had more amenities, or a free breakfast. Service was good and the front desk personal was very helpful! I would stay again For sure. Just wish it was cheaper.

Ybor. Just not after dark. Lots of good resturaunts. Dale malbry has good spots too.

“worn out/shabby. few amenities. good staff & service”

worn out/shabby hotel. Good staff. Few ameneties. outdated. Went there because they have a shuttle to the Dr Norman Parathyroid Center.

“location,location,location”

This is the typical Courtyard High rise Hotel, with a residence Inn behind it forming a courtyard for the pool. Only Valet parking available, a minus.King size bed as hard as a board, multiple small pillows, and unimpressive bedding. The Hotel has a shuttle to many restaurants within 5 or 10 miles.

Area recommendations

Close to many downtown attractions(River Walk) and easy to get to from the airport. Not many places with in walking distance to eat on Sundays without a car, except for some great New York Pizza. The Hotel has a shuttle to many excellent restaurants within 5 or 10 miles. .

“Clean and quiet”

The Marriott Tampa Downtown hotel was a nice, comfortable stay. The building was clean and well maintained. Room was what I thought it should be for its price and the staff was all very friendly. There are restaurants within a 4 block walking distance as well. Parking is $12 per day.

“really enjoyed stay, will come back again,”

Our room was clean, fresh towel daily, Pool and building well maintained. Employees were very curteous including the shuttle service provided. No complaints at all. Thank you.

“Great location, but not great service”

Pro: The hotel is located in downtown Tampa, near to Saint Peter's Time Forum, Tampa Aquarium, Children Museum, etc. Contra: I asked the room service for a make up mirror, so I could take my contact lenses out and I was told that they don't have such type of mirror. To bad...

“Great Stay for the Price”

My friends and I got a room here for a birthday celebration to avoid driving home. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! It was close to all the places we wanted go, cabs were reasonable, staff was friendly and accomodating and hotel was clean, would stay here again.

“This hotel is a bad rep for Tampa Fl”

Check in was smooth and easy but the room wasnt in top condition.The front enterence smelt of animal urine and the lock was broken on the enterence door. I was told by the booking agent that it was next to the port. 15 mins away and a 25$ cab ride isnt close to the port. House keeping also came 2.5 hrs prior to checkout.. When I told the desk clerk about all this as we were checking out.. she replyed "ok" Not even Im sorry...I told them of the broken door the night we checked in and it was never fixed. I have always enjoyed staying at CourtYard Marriotts but I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ONE in down town Tampa Fl.
