“Superb spa!”

Spa in hotel was fantastic. Lots of different whirlpools and saunas. Accommodating staff and in walking distance from all major tourist attractions. Breakfast buffet plentiful. Would definitely recommend.

“I would stay there again if I need to visit Tallinn”

Excellent view of the swimming pool from all hotel rooms, very nice pool, open to the guests from early morning till late evening, which allows you to enjoy it before or after business meetings. Very friendly personnel. Wide choice of food in the buffet breakfast. Only 10 minutes walk from the old town and the central part of the city.

When to go
Local people say that Tallinn is more lively in the summer, but I enjoyed the winter visit too. For the first time in my life I saw the frozen sea, and the huge ice-breaking ships traveling to Helsinki.

“Would definitely recommend”

Very nice hotel, the decor is really funky and modern throughout, and the pool facilities are stunning, what more could you need after being out in -15oC than a nice drink in a lovely warm jacuzzi! Hotel staff were all really friendly and helpful in telling us where things were and booking taxis etc. Brilliant selection of food at breakfast, pretty much anything you could ever want to eat. Old town is only a short walk away.

“Spa in Tallin”

Spent two nights in Tallink Spa. Spa itself and indoor pool are good, rooms are OK inspite of the fact that in the first room the tub was broken, But reception changed the room in 5 minutes and gave us even better one, with two windows and nice view. The hotel is located in 5 min walk from old town and port. Compairing to Moscow, RU, the prices for spa are cheap. That was good two days. I will recomend it for plesant stay.

“Ideale Lage, aber mit Einschränkungen im Wohlfühlen”

Gutes, sauberes Hotel. Zimmer für 2 Personen zu klein. Kaum Möglichkeiten Kleidung vernünftig ausserhalb des Koffers unterzubringen. Keine Ablageböden im Schrank, zu wenig Kleiderbügel. Raum um das eher kleine Doppelbett sehr eng. Ärgerlich war, dass der Abfluß im Waschbecken schon beim einchecken verstopft war und das Wasser nur sehr langsam ablief. Das wurde erst am nächsten Spätnachmittag nach nochmaliger Reklamation behoben. Zimmer sehr hellkörig. Man kriegt relativ ungedämpft mit was nebenan und am Gang passiert. Von Freitag bis Sonntag war jeweils zwischen 02:00 Uhr und 05:30 Uhr auf den Gängen und um das Hotel der Teufel los. Keine Rücksicht auf die Gäste die nicht um die Häuser ziehen, sondern Schlaf wollen. Liegt wohl an der Jahreszeit und unserem Alter. Das Personal zurückhaltend aber insgesamt freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Es gibt keine Situation, bei der man an der Rezeption nicht Hilfe bekommt. Aber manchmal dauert es halt ein wenig. Fast wie in südlichen Ländern. Wir würden das Hotel wieder wählen, vor allem wegen der idealen Lage zwischen Hafen und Stadtzentrum. Auch öffentliche Verkehrsmittel in unmittelbarer Nähe. Aber die nächsthöhere Kategorie wäre von Vorteil.

Schmeissen Sie alle Vorurteile über die alten "Ostblockstaaten" über Bord. Fahren Sie hin, schauen Sie und genießen Sie. Tallinn ist mehr als beeindruckend. Eine Stadt zum Verlieben. Wir wären gern noch geblieben.....
Getting there
Mit Flugzeug. Vom Flughafen mit dem Bus in die Innenstadt. Kann man problemlos machen, da es nur eine Linie gibt. Man kann sich nicht vertun. Taxi geht auch, aber vorher Preise checken. Hängen in jedem Taxi hinten rechts im Fenster. Man kann aber auch mit dem Fahrer vorab den Preis aushandeln.
What to pack
Regenkleidung und Regenschirm. Zumindest im August.
Must see
Natürlich die gesamte Altstadt. Da kann man sich mehrere Tage vergnügen.
Dining
Man kann alle Restaurants empfehlen. Allen voran Peppersack, Olde Hanse, Großmutters Küche und und und. Meiden sollte man nach Möglichkeit die Restaurants direkt um den Rathausplatz. Zu teuer und nicht immer gut.
