“Would stay again - but not before an exam.”

I had requested a high room in a quiet area because I was taking an exam the following morning. I was given a room on the 2nd floor (of 5 floors) at the front of the building. There was a bus tour group who arrived later in the evening and left very early in the morning. They weren't very noisy but the fact remains I had asked for a "quiet" area. The hotel was clean, staff was courteous. The lady in the breakfast area went out of her way to ensure all the customer's "needs" were taken care of. The bus group was from another country (Germany, I believe) and the hotel had run out of regular tea so the lady working in the area phoned her mother to pick some up! Nice breakfast buffet with quite a few different choices in order to please most.

“Found where I will always stay”

Excellent place! Five star! Only thing I didn't like was the cobweb in one corner.

“comin back”

“A nice hotel”

The room was what I expected, nice quality. Most hotels that I have stayed in in the last year have flat screen TVs not this one. They have a very nice breakfast with plenty to choose from. I would stay there again.

“Wingate by Wyndham 2516 W Lakeshore Dr I-10, Exit 199 Tallahassee, FL 32312”

I stayed at The Wingate with my daughter, my sister and her son. We shared a room with two queen beds. We were in Tallahassee to visit our mom and wanted a place we could be comfortable in but also feel safe. Our usual location was the Red Roof in close to the I-10 exit off of Monroe street, But that hotel has gone way way way down hill. I started feeling very creeped out by the guests who have been staying there. So we decided this time around we would look for a hotel we not only felt safe in but also felt comfortable in. The Wingate is perfect! The beds are SO SOFT ! The rooms are clean and the customer service is very good. The pool was clean and though we were unable to enjoy it (lack of time) there were others who seamed to be having a great time. It was a nice comfortable QUIET stay...We will def be staying here again... The breakfast buffet smelled AMAZING but we just couldn't get ourselves out of those comfy beds in time to enjoy the buffet.

Tallahassee Mall is No longer ... There are very few stores left.. If you want to shop i suggest heading to the Governers Square Mall .. its about 10 minutes away from the hotel..

IHOP is about 5 minutes away off of Monroe street. Service with a smile and delicious food... YUMMY

“Excellent hotel at a great value”

The hotel and room were very clean. The breakfast and customer service were excellent. The hotel is conveniently located close to I-10 and to many restaurants near by. I would definetely stay here again.

“Spiders everywhere, Will never go back”

spiders all over walls, cracks in tile in bathroom, not really queen size beds. the breakfast was free but quite lame and cold.

“Tallahassee, FL Best Hotel”

Excelent location near to I-10, and the university of FSU, the hotel service excekent, and the full breakfast is very very excelent.
