We are not sure these guests saw the town or the B&B during their visit! Not only is the town clearly coming up, there were just flowers recently planted inside brand-new curbs in the main square! The exterior is not in need of cleaning, unless I am not understanding what they're referring to (there are always some leaves on the courtyard) but It's true a new chapel is nearly complete! Breakfast is always continental on weekdays but included more than just pastry - also fresh fruit, juice and yogurt. We enjoyed having these guests and are mystified at their view.

First of all, though there were lights on in the patio and on the path to her room at night, there are probably a couple of dark places. She may have waited a couple of minutes at 3 for me to finish a phone call, but she is right that she did have a short wait and we are very sorry about that. We did request several times that she let us know when she'd be checking in so we could avoid any conflict between our hosting and my job, but that isn't always possible. Unfortunately, we get very little choice from the online services like Expedia to make our breakfast policy clear and that is unfortunate. Breakfast was a misunderstanding, as we thought we had made clear to the guest that we'd be having home-made apple cake and french breakfast pastry, but neglected to request she tell us when she was ready, so we could bring it out to her warm. I was a few minutes late getting to the breakfast area and she was a few minutes early - so something of a misunderstanding. She did not call or text me until she had already left so that I could get bring out the homemade treat I had in the oven staying warm. She forgot to mention the beautiful china and glassware and the fresh flowers on the table, along with the cranberry juice and the vanilla-lavender-cardamom-honey greek yogurt and fresh fruit with an flower-sprigged herb as accent. The room is not musty and the we're very surprised she could even smell the fragrance diffuser as it is only reeds and we haven't put any fragrance in it for several months. There is no mold on the cushions in the garden, though some of them have dark discolorations in places - they are outside. All in all an unfortunate set of snafus We do apologize!

So glad you had a great, relaxing time! The info and photos on that room clearly show no stand up shower, and we had a room available at that time that has a stand up shower,, however,, we'll revisit our verbiage on line to make sure it says weekdays we serve a nice continental. Do return to relax again!

We're so glad they liked us! The puck lights had run out of battery. The plug in is an emergency light that comes on when the power goes off. Unfortunately, they didn't bring either of these to our attention so we could have a) done something and b) explained how the emergency light worked. These folks really noticed the smallest details! Just wish they'd shared! Like that they still gave us excellent marks!

We're so sorry these charming guests had some issues while here. The queen bed frame had been loosened by the prev guests who didn't tell us, so that was unfortunate, and no chance to fix it for them due to a misunderstanding about it being fixed. The website says it's a continental breakfast and it is, we serve excellent pastry, coffee, juice, fresh fruit and the like on weekdays, sorry we didn't have cereal.. They're lovely folks and we hope they return as these unusual issues are fixed.

Happy that you thought us friendly - we try. Sorry you had an issue with the toilet area, but we've had over 6- footers stay in there often with no complaints and the room info makes clear that there is a tub only and no shower. A different room no doubt would've been a better fit, but the R&J was all we had available due to the influx of hurricane workers - hope you'll give us another chance and try a more suitable room for your needs!
