An okay hotel

Posted 16-May-2015
Pros: Their customer service was superb!
Cons: Making sure there are no rodents in their facilities.
Location: It is close to a Walmart and Cracker Barrel. There are many restaurants nearby as well.
The hotel itself was ok. The room looked just like the pictures. The disappointing part was not having a fridge and hearing sounds that were similar to rodents. The room was clean but i had no idea that you had to pay an extra $60 to get a refrigerator. It is disappointing in that sense. Other than that the customer service was excellent!

Rough place to stay

No security lock on the door. Most of the electric outlets did not work.

Convenient but overpriced

Posted 04-May-2015
Pros: convenient
Cons: more towels a "do not disturb" sign
Location: restaurants Florida State University
The room we were in had 2 double beds. This would have been fine if I was there with my daughter or a friend and we wanted our own bed, but I was there with my husband. I would have preferred one queen or king sized bed. It was a very basic room with no microwave and a very small bathroom. We would have liked more towels. We got there too late the first night and were too tired to go back to the office to request more. However, the next day when we saw the chambermaid she was happy to get us more towels. After a long day (our second day there) we couldn't get back into our room because they had reset the lock even though we were going to be there another night. There was no "do no disturb" sign available. We did not want the maids to come into the room when we left for the day. A small basic room is fine with me, but it was very overpriced (probably 4 times what its worth) most likely because it was graduation weekend. On the positive side, it was clean. I like the wood laminate floors instead of carpet (carpet holds bad smells, laminate seemed cleaner) and it was convenient to restaurants and other places we needed to go. Would I recommend it to a friend? It depends on the situation.

Price Made This Experience Worthwhile

Posted 02-May-2015
Pros: Price and location
Cons: Needs to be exterminated and updated
Location: Right off the freeway; right next to a Cracker Barrel restaurant
I found this hotel at the last minute, and as a result, was able to book a room for an incredibly low rate. This property is dated, so don't expect much in the way of decorations or amenities. The staff was friendly, and the bed was comfortable. However, there were a few roaches in the room that I had to kill before I settled in for the night.

Nice Stay.

Posted 28-Apr-2015
Pros: Centralized location.
Cons: More towels from housekeeping
Location: Different dining options
I stayed here two times and enjoyed each stay. It is located central to almost anything you would need and super close to the highway. i stayed for 4 nights and I would definitely stay again. It was quiet and the hotel staff was more than helpful.

Great for the price!

Posted 17-Apr-2015
Pros: Price and location to where our activities were
Location: Sits right behind a Cracker Barrel so food isn't an issue. Directly off 1-10 but not too far from FSU campus.
This hotel was clean and recently renovated. We had 3 rooms all of which were clean. We were on the 2nd floor but they accommodated my parents with a bottom floor room. We had no problems except air didn't seem to be working well in rm 117. We did have someone knock on our door at 4 am but it was just a woman who realized she had the wrong room. We never opened the door and we were never in any danger. a little strange but nothing ever surprises me at any hotel.

Close to restaurants

Posted 16-Apr-2015
I stayed at this hotel for one night last weekend. I was in Tallahassee for a tour of FSU with my son. The room was clean, and the front desk guy that works at night was very courteous. The only bad thing is that Red Roofs don't offer breakfast, but there are plenty of choices around, Cracker Barrel, Krispie Creme donuts, etc; and for the price that I paid, I couldn't ask for more.

Great for the price

Posted 15-Apr-2015
Pros: Easy airport access, good bed, very clean
Cons: Nothing that we noticed.
Location: Tons of restaurants nearby
We stayed at Red Roof Inn one night, prior to a very early morning flight. Check in desk was busy, but the blonde lady at the front desk was very friendly and efficient, so the wait wasn't bad at all. We weren't expecting a 5 star resort type of room, and this room met our needs perfectly. Very clean, comfortable bed, good water pressure and lots of hot water. Very quiet also! We would definitely stay again!
