Great for the price!

Posted 17-Apr-2015
Pros: Price and location to where our activities were
Location: Sits right behind a Cracker Barrel so food isn't an issue. Directly off 1-10 but not too far from FSU campus.
This hotel was clean and recently renovated. We had 3 rooms all of which were clean. We were on the 2nd floor but they accommodated my parents with a bottom floor room. We had no problems except air didn't seem to be working well in rm 117. We did have someone knock on our door at 4 am but it was just a woman who realized she had the wrong room. We never opened the door and we were never in any danger. a little strange but nothing ever surprises me at any hotel.

Close to restaurants

I stayed at this hotel for one night last weekend. I was in Tallahassee for a tour of FSU with my son. The room was clean, and the front desk guy that works at night was very courteous. The only bad thing is that Red Roofs don't offer breakfast, but there are plenty of choices around, Cracker Barrel, Krispie Creme donuts, etc; and for the price that I paid, I couldn't ask for more.

Great for the price

Posted 15-Apr-2015
Pros: Easy airport access, good bed, very clean
Cons: Nothing that we noticed.
Location: Tons of restaurants nearby
We stayed at Red Roof Inn one night, prior to a very early morning flight. Check in desk was busy, but the blonde lady at the front desk was very friendly and efficient, so the wait wasn't bad at all. We weren't expecting a 5 star resort type of room, and this room met our needs perfectly. Very clean, comfortable bed, good water pressure and lots of hot water. Very quiet also! We would definitely stay again!

Did not know they still had smoking rooms. Might have been the dirtiest hotel I've ever stay in.

Poor Location and creepy.

Posted 15-Apr-2015
Pros: Cost
Cons: I looked under the bed and it was filthy. I didn't like laminate flooring throughout, felt gritty and dirty. Staff was indifferent and disengaged.
Location: Cracker Barrel. Close to the interstate.
There was a very loud argument in parking lot between a man and a women. Atmosphere felt low class and a go to place for cheating spouses to hook-up. Not a good indicator of the other guests.

Very quiet and comfortable

Pros: Priced right
Cons: Noon check out instead of 11am
Location: Off I-10, Cracker Barrel in front of hotel, fast foods near by and the Mall.
had a meeting in town, it was perfect to relax in and great location. Perfect for a short trip that does not require much time in the room. Priced perfectly!

Pros: Loved the hardwood floors in the room.
Cons: The cleaning staff was noisy. I went away to rest and sleep in late but they woke me hollering outside the rooms during the cleaning process.
Location: Nice location to great restaurants and situated close to the interstate.
The check in was after the time provided in my reservation. The room was remodeled nicely but I expected a microwave and fridge and that was not in my room.

Close to I-10

Upon check in the desk attendant was slightly rude. There were several people trying to check in at the same time and he didn't have a very good attitude about it. I asked it we could change rooms due to other friends coming in the next day and we wanted to stay together and he said...once you get to your room, call me later. I called 3 times and no answer. Thankfully the next morning he was gone and replaced by a very friendly and accommodating young lady who assisted happily. The room was changed, friends arrived and we were all situated in new rooms. However, I did complain to a maid about the comforter being stained and looking dirty. She assured me it was just cleaned that very morning. No pool No breakfast....but luckily a Cracker Barrel right there in front!

Easy I 10 access

Old rooms, I like the fact that there was not carpet, just wood floors, but they were filthy. They probably had not been cleaned in months, my daughter walked bare food for a couple minutes and her feet were black. Kept shoes on all the time. It was nice for just sleeping, would not want to spend a lot of time in room. Had to go to desk for toilet paper because no one answered the phone, when I got to office it was locked and had to wait a while before someone came back.

Our stay in Tuscaloosa

Posted 29-Mar-2015
Our room was clean and comfortable tho the door appeared to have had some damage as it was hard to shut and didn't feel secure. We asked for a non smoking room but the room smelt of smoke and there was an ashtray provided.
