“Would not go back”
Staff was helpful, room need repair, bathroom door would not lock or stayed closed, faucet was broken, they carpeted over a hole in the floor, outside was old, bed was comfortable. Would nor stay at this hotel again for the price.
“Tallhassee Trip”
Very disappointed in this hotel. Found previous guest's trash in trash can, stained bedding, broken ac unit and broken clothing iron. Hotel needs to be leveled and build new. An older hotel that is poorly maintained. the only plus, was that the staff were nice and the breakfast was not too bad. This hotel is worst I have ever stayed at. If my wife and family were traveling with me I would have never walked into the hotel. Even the exterior was poorly maintained. I am disappointed in Expedia for even reccommending this hotel.
“Never Again”
What a dissappointment.
“Double Bed...ha!”
While this hotel was cheap, I would not recommend it to anyone. First of all, the neighborhood was really sketchy. Being from out of town, I had no idea that it would be as creepy as it was. Second, what the hotel claims is a double bed is really just an oversized twin bed that will NOT comfortably fit two adults. I had originally booked two rooms for seven people. We ended up getting a third room and paying the extra money because the beds were so small!!! The bathrooms are nice. If you depend on breakfast in the morning, you're better off going to Starbucks or Chick-fil-A, as this one is cheap and is pretty much prepackaged food or pastries. Nothing fresh, except the coffee which wasn't labeled decaf...guess who fell asleep during class because of lack of caffeine??!! Overall, I'd rather have paid $30 more per room to go to another hotel and actually have gotten what I paid for.
“Quality stay for the right price.”
This hotel always has rooms available and is conveniently located to resturants and mall. The Village Inn is a great diner just down the street. The rooms are always very clean, and I have stayed twice with no problem. This is a two star holel but the most updated and comfortable I've seen. The vanity and shower walls are silestone granite, new linens, furniture and carpet seem to have been done within the last year or two. I would definately stay again!
“Good Value”
This place is a great value. It's not the nicest hotel, but it's a clean place to sleep, and the price is right. The age of the building shows, and while it's obvious that the interior was recently renovated, the fact that it was done cheaply is apparant in things like the shower nozzle bring loose from the wall. With that being said, the updates make the place feel nicer than the price, and there are a lot of value adds like breakfast and wifi. A note of the wifi is that it was very spotting and kept going in and out the entire stay. However, all of the issues I found were cosmetic, and if you're just looking for an inexpensive place to stay for a few nights, this would be it. The staff working at the hotel were very nice and helpful, and probably the best part of the hotel overall. I would stay here again if I returned to tallahassee.
