“Courtyard Marriott”

Hotel was average, but clean and lobby very nice. Restaurant/Deli was nice. Strange layout of property and rooms, I had a long walk to get to my room. I would stay there again if business requires. Might look into other optionis as well though.

“Bugs and cigarette smoke”

The room smelled like a bar, there were bugs all over and the towels looked like they had been used by the maintainence department. JW would close this place or at least remove his name.

Downtown , five minutes from airport and plenty to do for fun.

“Wonderful hotel”

Needed a place to stay while visiting our son at FSU, this hotel was situated well within the area where we needed to be. While we've stayed in Tallahassee many times, we were very impressed with this hotel. The front desk was welcoming and quickly assigned us a room. As we arrived at our room, we were pleasantly surprised to see an updated, clean and comfortable room. The hotel was quiet at night and afforded us the relaxation we needed after a busy day; we were close enough to nice restaurants, shopping and whatever else we needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the Tallahassee capital area; and, in fact, made our reservations for graduation next April while checking out!

“Great hotel but billing problem”

Enjoyed my overnight and casual breakfast, especially decor. However, watch your bill. They double charged me...once through Expedia and then my credit card. But, after three phone calls, they managed to credit my account. Recommend!

“Great Hotel”

We stayed for the weekend during Springtime in Tallahassee and the hotel was wonderful. We arrived early and the staff was very friendly and courteous and let us check in early. The room was very comfortable and the balcony was a nice touch because it overlooked a wooded area. The hotel was also very quiet. There are some decent restaurants within a short drive or semi long walk from the hotel. The hotel is 5 minutes from downtown via car. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tallahassee.

“Nice Place”

The hotel is very clean and the staff is very nice. They don't have continental breakfast, but you can buy something from the small boutique-like eatery. I would recommend it to someone for a quick weekend stay.

“When I go back I will request the same room. Best hotel out there for the price!”

My overall review is the Courtyard Marriot Capitol is in a quite and peaceful location. This was excellent for me. I was not expecting any end high amenities but I got much more than I expected, such as, free internet and Wi-fi connections, convient articles to buy, a small restaurant and bar. A lot of bang for your buck. The room was excellent and workers were good spirited and friendly. Would recommend to anyone including my friends. This is perfect for anyone that like small town settings, and that is Tallahassee. City folks might find things a little to quite for them but they should not go to Tallahassee to party. Overall my stay was excellent! I'LL BE BACK!

Area recommendations
I am not that familiar with Tallahassee but the area where the Marriot Courtyard hotel is located is fine for me. I found even the motorist were courteous and the restaurant and bar service were very professional. This is perfect for a quite small town area with lots of conviencies. If you are party goer, this is not the town. This is a college town and it is perfect for that.
Getting around
You must use a rental car with a GPS and you will be fine. To be sure bring your own GPS. I found every location with little no trouble with my GPS. Since my trip was business all day everyday, my only concern was good restraunts locations and buy a few things. consequently, I did not sight-see much. Definitely donot recommend walking.

“Comfortable and Convenient”

Very convenient to FSU and reasonably priced, near shopping mall and variety of dining options. Short drive to Capital center and downtown amenities.
