The staff were pleasant, professional, and EXTREMELY helpful. We had just one night in Istanbul and with their help, it was a magical one. They also contacted us in advance, which made arrival simpler.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The hotel was very nice hotel. However, I think some of the staff need training in customer service - a welcoming smile would be a good start as some of them had an unapproachable manner about them. The swimming pool was not available during our stay. Also we had been put into a room without a view of the sea instead we faced a wall which had fake grass on it. When you check in they require a credit card so that extras can be charged to your room. If you have no credit card you will need to pay for extras there and then either on your debit card or by cash.
Small and cozy hotel, very clean and comfortable room. The staff were very friendy and helpful. The front office staff spoke very good english, which was very helpful.
The breakfast buffet had good veraiety, and if you ask the staff they will prepare freshly made scrambled eggs, which was very good.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Lush hotel, will definietly go back.
The rooftop bar/pool area have the most breath taking views over Istanbul, the restaurant Mikla below also serve amazing food! Our stay at The Marmara Pera could not have been better, the perfect hotel in a great location, we will definitely be coming back very soon!
The Beyoglu-Taksim district is on the European side of Istanbul, across the Golden Horn from the historic city centre. “Beyoglu” generally refers to the area in Taksim between Taksim Square and the Tunel (subway). The district has traditionally been the most European quarter of Istanbul, with many consulates and embassies. It remains famous for its arts, entertainment, and nightlife.
