When we go away we do love a good view to look at. I know it costs a bit more but in this case it was well worth the extra. Looking over the Bosphorus was breath taking especially at night. As soon as we walked into the Gezi we felt at home. All the staff were really friendly and very, very helpful. Spa facilities are excellent and the only thing we did miss was a sun lounge area to have a cold drink after a day of sightseeing, but appreciate space is at a premium. Can't wait to return and thank you for a perfect stay.

I stayed 12 nights and loved the location (can't get any better for Taksim), my room felt like home (clean and comfortable) and the staff were excellent (great English, professional). I would highly recommend staying here.
overall this hotel is great for tourists since everywhere is reachable from taksim square its 2 min walk from taksim however the first floor rooms are not comfortable because u can hear ppl talking and walking early the higher floors are better everything else was cosy so yeah ill visitnthe place again but not the first floor

Concierge were wonderful. Restaurants were tasty. The spa was great. I had Shukaria for the hammam. Quite an experience for an American. We typically are not comfortable being nude in front of others but she was great and made me feel really comfortable. I may be a hammam convert after all! There is a lot to see in Istanbul and I didn't even scratch the surface. I will be back.
We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The hotel was very nice hotel. However, I think some of the staff need training in customer service - a welcoming smile would be a good start as some of them had an unapproachable manner about them. The swimming pool was not available during our stay. Also we had been put into a room without a view of the sea instead we faced a wall which had fake grass on it. When you check in they require a credit card so that extras can be charged to your room. If you have no credit card you will need to pay for extras there and then either on your debit card or by cash.
The rooftop bar/pool area have the most breath taking views over Istanbul, the restaurant Mikla below also serve amazing food! Our stay at The Marmara Pera could not have been better, the perfect hotel in a great location, we will definitely be coming back very soon!
