This place is AMAAAAAAZING ;) The staff was so friendly - they have a little modern hipsterish vibe to them and the hotel is beautiful - just lovely. The views on the rooftop are amazing and they have cocktails if you want or snacks. I didn't use the spa but they have that and the gym and everything downstairs. The staff went literally OUT of their way to help me and make me feel comfortable - They upgraded my room to make sure I got the room with the photos that I was proposed on Expedia (because not all have that shower with bench type thing) and it was amazing.
The staff - Onur was literally such a tribute to the hotel. He was so genuine and smiling and so helpful in every way. The hotel should really thank him as he made it such a wonderful stay (he and his colleague with the red beard), that actually I came back on Expedia and reserved another night, and when I woke up again, I didn't want to leave and I reserved another night, haha. It was AMAZING.
Thanks again guys!
"Lovely, characterful hotel in old town of Istanbul"
I stayed at the Galata Antique hotel for two nights and would definitely recommend it, it is good value for money, centrally located close to Istiklal street and the Metro and has a nice boutique hotel feel to it. It has a roof terrace with great views across roof tops to Sultanahmet and the Golden Horn.

Hotel is close to Istikal street which is great for shopping and restaurants. Not too far from the Old City.
The rooms are quite small and not like the photos shown on the site. the pool is also very small and doesn't get much sun.
This is a really butique hotel on the corner of Taqsim park. Staff are absolutely friendly and hotel is really clean. Walking distance to shopping centres and night life in Taqsim . I highly recommend hotel restaurant with perfect Italian cuisine and good vine selection with very readable price ( Turkish Syrah vine 2012 was fantastic) . I had corner room which is 50% more than regular one which I beleave you don't get too much for the money. I recommend either get junior suit or for the chippest one. If you want to have a tea and snack, infront of the hotel in the park you can have a cheapest, 1 tl, and cleanest tea or coffee in town.

Great location. 2 stops by tram to the old town. 5 min walk from the hustle and bustle of Main Street but quiet so great fro sleeping. Fantastic staff uber friendly and kind and a wonderful restaurant. The deserts look and taste as good as the pictures! :) Go. You won't regret it.
This hotel is part of the Hilton change so certain standards are to be expected
Upon arrival we were shown to our rooms overlooking the garden area. These were not in the main body of the hotel but were in a separate area going down in the lift , from the entrance which was at ground floor level. These rooms overlooked some private gardens with fountains but there was no view of the sea as in the other rooms higher up.
The rooms branch off from an extremely long corridor which smelt really damp and there was a certain mustiness in some of the rooms. Reception staff were helpful and allowed us to view alternatives before selecting another room further along the corridor which did not have a stale smell .
The rooms are of a good size and well-stocked with all the comforts one would expect from the Hilton including complimentary toiletries, iron, ironing board etc. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, the common parts such as the lobby and the restaurants are very well maintained to a high standard. The rooms are comfortable and clean but the decor is dated. There is no lifeguard at 1 of the pools
We were wrongly charged at the end of our stay for facilities we did not use, but fortunately the reception supervisor sorted their mistake out.
Overall a good stay but not the best "Hilton experience" I have had.
The Beyoglu-Taksim district is on the European side of Istanbul, across the Golden Horn from the historic city centre. “Beyoglu” generally refers to the area in Taksim between Taksim Square and the Tunel (subway). The district has traditionally been the most European quarter of Istanbul, with many consulates and embassies. It remains famous for its arts, entertainment, and nightlife.
