“Bellow the Westin standards”

Over all good experience, but this hotel is a bit old and rooms are not furnished up to the westin standard. A renovation work would be necessary to bring this hotel to 2010 standards.

“SIMPLY THE BEST!!”

A. The location of the hotel is perfect, it's near 2 MRT stops, a Starbucks, and a KFC; plus two international banks (HSBC & Citibank). B. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the marble bathroom is well appointed. C. More importantly, their staff went above and beyond what was needed. Their customer service was just flawless. We had requested for airport transfer to the hotel so when we arrived, a hotel representative was efficiently waiting for us. After he confirmed our identities, he quickly ushered us towards a Mercedez S class limousine where the driver handed us an express check-in form. By the time we got to the hotel a guest relations officer was waiting for us at the door, and she handed us our room key passes and hotel brochures. It was such a great experience! We didn't even need to hang around the lobby to check-in anymore like one usually does. They made everything so easy for us! Furthermore, when we had problems with one of our tour operators in Taipei ( they had left us at the side of the road instead of bringing us back to the hotel), even though it was not really their problem, the guest relations desk at the hotel helped us to resolve the issue with the tour operator and they also helped us to get our money refunded back. This, for me really is going above and beyond so the next time we are in Taipei, we are DEFINITELY going back to the Westin Taipei Hotel.

“Great choice and location”

We loved our stay here. Service was excellent throughout the hotel. Close to subway stop. Great breakfast buffet.

Traveller's tip

Make sure you get a tourist map that includes the Chinese characters. Most cabbies don't speak English and this map will save your life. If your hotel isn't shown on the map, have your hotel give you a card with the characters so you can get home easily. Cabs are very cheap here and you will use them alot.

“Wait until they have completed the subway (next year)”

Lovely hotel, a Westin room in every way. Very clean, service good, breakfast acceptable. HOWEVER, in spite of my request for a quiet room, I was slotted in a room facing the street. No problem when I arrived about midnight and I foolishly wondered if the construction knocked off at night. Chalk that up to jet lag. Must have been a lunch break - and you do hear the construction noises in the room, even on a high floor. (I was on 14.) Subway will be completed in 2010.

Traveller's tip

LOVELY new restaurant next to the National Palace Museum - second floor of a new building. I think it is called SILKS. Had a good-sized, very tasty meal for about $20 and felt like a queen.

“Outstanding experience”

Great location and service was stellar. Little gestures like complimentary tea in the afternoon made a nice touch.

Traveller's tip

Go the local night market for dinner. Street food is safe in Taipei and having some is a great deal of fun. Only about 4 blocks from the hotel.

“期待どおりです。”

1階が改装中で、ちょっと不便でしたが、ほぼ期待通りのステイでした。何度もステイしてますが、客室もきれいですし、スタッフもフレンドリーです。

“ロケーションが良いホテル”

今回初めて利用しました。立地が良いので、助かりました。またスタッフのみなさんの接遇も良かったと思います。ただ、１階ロビーが工事中のためパーフェクトな状態でなかったのが、大変残念です。せめて事前に分かっていれば、お客様にも説明できたのですが。

“松山空港から好アクセス”

松山空港からMRTで2駅、その後徒歩5分でチェックインできます。設備やホスピタリティには特に問題も無く、非常に快適でした。
