“Taipei, July 2011”

In Asia, I have stayed in six different Sheraton hotels so I believe that I have a fair background to comparitively evaluate this hotel. In general, the Sheraton Taipei was a clean, comfortable oasis in the middle of a busy city. It had every convenicne associated with a 5 star hotel and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I appreciate that the hotel has Western amenities to make me feel comfortable. The hotel is very close to the high speed rail station and a very short walk to a major subway stop. If you are looking for a centrally located, comfortable, and fully ameniable hotel in Taipei, this is the the place. I also felt that the price was reasonable for the quality of the hotel and location. I would definitely stay here again.

“Friendly Staff, c”

In general, I had a great time . Comparable to 4-5 star hotels and possibly even higher in my mind. I just wish they offer wifi (with surcharge is fine) in our rooms instead just the lobbies. I was unable to use my ipad to access internet in my room and I didn't bring my laptop . The guest rooms were spacious and clean, great lobby area with sofa and private areas where you can meet up with friends and family for a quick chat. Internet access , charge outlets, desks, personal desktops were all available in the lobby I also wish their swimming pool was indoor instead of outdoor so we could still use it in the winter. Compare to other 4-5 star hotels this one is the most cost efficient for the same offerings

“OK, but what's with the pool hours?”

Disappointed that the pool closes at 8pm. My wife and I wanted to go for a swim after check in. No go.

“Excellent hotel, but you're paying premium for location”

I usually stay at a Marriott; however, Taiwan doesnt have a Marriott. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised. The room is spacious and the breakfast (which is included in the price) is awesome. The fruit is fresh and the buffet is designed to serve many cultures, so there are many kinds of cuisines to taste from. The location is ideal if you are planning to HSR (high speed train) down south. Its about 10 min walk to the train station. The local subway is less than 500 ft from the hotel and is simple to take. They have a free internet cafe with video in the lobby. There is also a 7-11 a half block away from the hotel.

Convenient and hospitable for a first-time visitor to Taiwan.

“Nicely renovated. Good value”

This hotel was recently renovated to international standards. The rooms are well sized, nicely decorated and well maintained. The price is reasonable compared to similar hotels of this category and the location is very convenient, with train and subway access close by.

“エグゼクティブラウンジのスタッフが素人だった”

ラウンジのサービスは、ほどよくよかったが、受付での対応が全然ダメ。 ２回時間を変えて尋ねたが、一度は全く駄目。２度目はなんとか、対応させた。 これは改善してもらわないと印象が悪くなると思います。

“また泊まりたい”

部屋も快適、スタッフの対応も素晴らしく、朝食もとても美味しかった。オススメのレストランを聞いたり、マッサージの予約をフロントでお願いしましたが、とても親切かつ日本語でも問題ありませんでした。３歳の子供を連れての滞在でしたが、スタッフの方がちょっとした時に手を振ってくれたり笑いかけてくれたりして、子供も嬉しかったようです。台湾は３度目でしたが、今までのホテルの中で一番でした。夕食をいただいた中華レストランも（値段は日本のホテル並みですが）素晴らしかったです。
