“Can't wait to go back!”
Small hotel but very nicely kept and the cheap price does not reflect the hotel's high quality. The staff is very polite and they stand up every time you pass by. The rooms are very clean and the bathroom is also very nice. All in all, I really liked my stay. I've stayed there twice already, and will probably stay there again.
“Five Star Service!”
This hotel is a steal! The customer service is exceptional. They will help you with what ever you need and they always do it with a smile. It was within walking distance to many restaurants ,the metro, and shops. If you need a taxi they are very inexpensive and the hotel will tell them where you want to go. Most of the taxi drivers don't speak English so this is very helpful. If there is a next time, I will be staying at the Royal Biz Taipei.
“great hotel”
stay in the hotel for 6 nights in july and loved every bit of the hotel. staff are very friendly, breakfast buffet provided good varieties and fresh fruits. there's a food street (where you can find really good shaved ice) and a semi shopping district. the only problem is the hotel is a bit far from the subway, about 10min walking distance, seemed extra long cuz the weather was hot. however, we spent most time wandering around the city and took taxis pretty often, so not really a problem. will recommend this hotel for its comfort and its staff.
“Great hotel in a quiet location”
Very nice and simple hotel, with a few rooms, so it does not get crowded at the lobby. Nice breakfast, that is simple and delicious. Hotel Wifi was available but can get slow at times. Location wise, away from busy streets, but nearby a local morning wet market, that was very nice and only 2 mins away. Rooms and bed was really comfortable, cleaned everyday, with choice of chinese or english newspaper.
“Comforts of home and convenient to the MRT”
As in previous trips, the comforts of home from a comfortable bed and awesome breakfast each morning to the convenience of the MRT, the Biz is truly Royal. It is a bit older, but maintained with gracious, English-speaking hotel staff. The desk staff were always helpful and got us where we wanted/needed to go while traveling. Yes, there are more beautiful hotels with high prices, but for the money and convenience, our bit of home outranks the others (we have stayed in others as high as the Grand).
“We Will stay here again on future trips to Taipei”
I hate to let the "secret" out about the Royal Biz as I may not be able to get in on our next visit if everyone else goes there........ Seriously, we were Delighted with this hotel and the management and staff of the Royal Biz. Everyone was helpful to an extreme and the breakfasts that they served were exceptional. The hotel floor we were on was Quiet which we needed after non-stop touring all day. We can say, after experiencing a 5.7 Earthquake while napping on our bed, that the hotel held up beautifully.
“An excellent choice-rated as 3.5 stars but should be much higher. Excellent all round”
Booked this hotel on the enternet and followed other comments from other guests - but was still a bit wary. To our delight could not have done better. Excellent all round could not fault in anyway. We chose a superior suite - for our stay of 5 nights and then another 2 nights after touring the island. We were looking forward while touring to return to Royal Biz Hotel. Would highly recommend to all. Helen & David - South Australia.
“Again a wonderfull stay at Royal Bizz”
I booked this hotel earlier this year and was suprised by the comfort and the kindness of the employees. Again it was perfect stay at Royal Bizz
“Worth the money”
I stayed there at two different times recently and was reasonably impressed. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to an MRT station and most staff members speak English more than well enough in case you need assistance. They also have a gym with minimal equipment in case you want to work out some. The only thing that I wondered about was their morning buffet. The first leg of my journey, the buffet was great! There was quite a large variety of offerings, some of which had a French touch and was quite delicious. When I returned to the hotel during the last part of my trip, there was still an abundant amount of food, but for some reason the overall quality seemed to slip a little. It was still good, just not fantastic. Of course, I can live with this and will make a note to go back to this hotel in the future.
“Excellent Facilities and Experience”
We enjoyed our stay at Royal Biz. The room was well equipped with desk, refrigerator/mini bar, comfortable chair, bathroom supplies and storage space. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only (slight) downside was the walk from the subway - it was much further than the map suggests, especially with luggage. We really liked the free shuttle service that took us to the Grand Hotel and to the train station for our departure. The breakfast buffet was different, with food much more suited to dinner than breakfast, but we found plenty to eat, no complaints! The hotel is within a 15-minute walk to Chang Kai-shek Memorial. We didn't explore much beyond there on foot, but it is in a residential neighborhood, but not too noisy at night. Overall, it was a great place to stay and I'd recommend it.
