Rooms
Hotel Eclat Taipei offers 60 air-conditioned accommodations with washers/dryers and CD players. Rooms feature city views. Each accommodation is individually furnished and decorated. Select Comfort beds feature Egyptian cotton linens, triple sheeting, and down comforters. A pillow menu is available. 42-inch LCD televisions come with premium satellite channels, free movie channels, and first-run movies. Guests can make use of the in-room refrigerators, espresso makers, and coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms include showers with handheld showerheads, double sinks, bathrobes, and slippers.
Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wired and wireless high-speed Internet access. Business-friendly amenities include desks, ergonomic chairs, and multi-line phones. Additionally, rooms include DVD players and minibars. In-room massages, hypo-allergenic bedding, and irons/ironing boards can be requested. A nightly turndown service is provided and housekeeping is offered daily.
All guestrooms are non-smoking.

“Will be back when i'm in Taipei”
Location is the only downside.

The hotel is not grand but rooms that I stayed in were clean, comfortable (in terms of amenities and size). Plus the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a tree-lined bullevard and adjacent to a few major tourists attractions and high end dining and shopping districts. It is also close to subways or metro transportation rail systems. Enjoyed the stay and would return!
“I must look wealthier than I am”
I liked the idea of the eclat as a boutique art hotel. In general the staff were very attentive. The few concerns I had included a sticky floor and a bed and bath that didn't really fit someone over 6 foot tall. The TV stand was locked up against the foot of the bed, making it hard for me to stretch my legs. The biggest concern though was when I inquired about booking another night for a few days later, I was quoted a much higher rate, even though online their rates stayed the same, as did those of other Taipei hotels. I didn't appreciate the automatic upgrade in price.

Our stay at Hotel Eclat was our best lodging experience in Taiwan and we traveled all over the country. From time of check-in until our departure, the staff remembered us, asked us about our experiences, offered great suggestions, and were most attentive. The rooms are perfectly appointed to meet both business and personal travel needs.
“Top Shelf--Very Classy”
From the moment you enter the lobby with the two 8' Dali sculptures, you know you haven't spent money poorly. State-of-the-art EVERYTHING at your fingertips. Remote control drapes, remote control toilet, high-end television & radio, Mont Blanc pen set are just a few of the standard room features. A full ice bucket awaits your arrival every day, as does a marble shower that has a wand/shower-head/overhead rain trilogy. Morning breakfast is in the comfortable lobby setting and the staff is very quick to serve. AFternoon tea is also served in the lobby. You can find a larger room, but I'm not sure you'll find a more well-appointed room.

部屋の設備は最新のエレクトロニクスが駆使されており、ヨーロッパの最新ホテルにもひけをとらないような充実ぶりで、ライティングのスイッチ類は全てタッチセンサー方式であったり、オーディオシステムはバング＆オルソセンであったりといたれりつくせりです。但し室温調整が21度以上上げられず（理由はわかりかねますが）パジャマで寛ぐには寒すぎて困りました。クレームをつけたらデロンギのヒーターがすぐに持ってこられました。対応はすばやく満足はしました。特に朝食はビュッへスタイルに各自ホットミールをオーダー出来バランスよくとても満足のいくものでした。部屋の広さはコンパクトですがビジネスやシンプルな旅行スタイルで来た人には、コストパフォーマンス的には非常にお得な感じがしました。
“部屋の七色イルミネーションがちょっと・・・”
部屋の柱の照明が七色に変化しちょっと○○ホテルっぽい感じがするので、それだけが下品。リネン・アメニティも良かった。部屋は狭いのでゆっくりしたい時は不向きかも。朝食はメインを選んでテーブルまで持ってきてくれるので、バイキングで毎日同じもので辟易することはないと思う。

台湾で一泊だけ素敵なホテルに泊まりたくて泊まりました。 チェックインは部屋でゆっくりしていただき、日本語もＯＫ。部屋の設備も丁寧に教えていただきました。 部屋の中にエスプレッソマシンもあり、お茶飲みたければ、おいしいティーバックも備えてあります。ウェルカムフルーツもありました。ドラゴンフルーツがおいしかったです。エアコンも部屋ごとに調整できるので助かりました。 ちょっと部屋が狭かったですが、台湾の活気ある通りが見えたりしていいお部屋でした。 朝食、ゆっくり食べさせていただきました。スタッフの方もよく気がつく方で、気持ちよく食べさせていただきました。 ちょっとMRT大安駅から歩くかなあ…といった感じですが、別世界感は泊まる価値あり。 ちょっと贅沢な台湾での宿泊を楽しみたい方は是非！
