The hotel room is kinda creepy when you get inside and the room is on the basement as well as the cr is kinda dirty. The aircon cannot control by the guests that’s why mostly of our stay the temperature from the aircon is really hot we even sweat while sleeping because it’s too hot. But the hotel stuff are approachable in any way.

Hotel rating needs downgrade.
This is definitely not a 3 star hotel. Barely 2 star in my opinion. No control over the airco was very bad as it was very very cold. If you get a room with no window you'll suffer even more. Overall, trade carefully, a hostel would be a better choice. Bathroom was unsanitary. Staff is helpful though and upgrade was free after a complain but still not 3 stars.

Satisfied solo traveler
For a solo traveller, the room was spacious and clean. Staffs was friendly and it was raining, i had borrowed umbrella from them during my stay there. Will return to stay again!

well its cheap in downtown so don't expect much! they could clean the room and the bathroom but they didn't at least I had clean towels! was humid and with mold around bathroom and walls on the room! I don't recommend it!

Unhappy stay
The water heater breakdown during my stay and there will not hot water during cold weather. When I reach back hotel at 6pm, no bath towel are ready in the room. This didn’t happen once but Everyday. Plus I was staying at the 5th floor where there is no lift. The air-condition in the room was not service or clean at all. Basically when the air con was on, black dirt keep blowing out from the air condition.

I love our stay. There was only a mishap on our reservation though. Instead of putting us in one room, we were separated in 2 rooms. Although the room was generally clean, I saw one cockroach. Overall, I was happy with the room. Hope they could place a bidet and dressing xabinet in the room also.

Meh.... room
Taking into the consideration of the price, I can't complain much but the air-condition is not cold enough and it's warm staying in the room. No sound proof and guess everyone can hear each other conversation in each room. The bed is super soft, toilet is a little dirty. Room is very small and it is in the alley. For lady staying alone, highly Nor recommended.

The price was right, but the room was questionable
Let's start off by saying the hotel stay were nice and that is a plus. Having said that, the room I stayed in was not acceptable overall. While the bed was comfortable, the room itself was in bad shape. There was mold all over the wall near the air conditioning unit. This was not pleasant in any way. The bathroom was almost as bad. Moisture is not being removed from the room adequately. There is no elevator and the building's condition is rustic to say the least. It is not somewhere I would frequent.

clean room for a economical price
not sound prof. children crying loud party animals, other people showering are all noise you have to deal with central AC unit no individual control. on a quiet small street. in an excellent young people district, so lots of fun things to eat and to fun things to do and see. very affordable district. price per night was very very reasonable. extra friendly staff . would consider staying again despite all the negatives.

Great location, not so great hotel
The location of the hotel was perfect, however the condition of the hotel wasn't that good. I changed room after the first night as it was full of small insects. The second room was on a lower floor so you could hear everything from the busy street. The room also smelled like cigarettes all the time as people were smoking right in front of the air conditioning duct. Also wifi and the water kettle didn't work...

Cheap n comfortable stay
Overall experience was good except for the shower head and the toilet flooring. The toilet wooden flooring is kind of uncomfortable and the shower head seems faulty. Tried to do all that we can but no water flows out from the shower head. Instead water flows out from another long connecting pipe. Anyway, overall is still ok.

Pleasant but slightly inaccessible
At ximending area, near cinemas. However, pretty hard to find the hotel. It's quite far from ximending MRT station. Around 10-15min walk! Had to cab in and out whenever we had our luggage with us but taxi driver might not know the hotel by name, so it's good to know the address of the hotel. Hotel has no lift. So keep your luggage light and manageable. Stay was pleasant and clean. Very private and nice overall.

location was good, but it was kinda difficult to find the exact location. to my horror no lift as my room is in the basement of the building. Room was good spacious and A/C is strong. water strength was good from the shower Problem - street noise/loud door closing - Room is full of house flies - power plugs are plenty but none near the bed - TV have most of the channels but snowy pictures - Wooden flooring on the floor could have been better constructed, nearly cut my feet due to the screws - could have provided a small table or some chairs.

Quite ok for short stay
We were brought to another building after we arrived the hotel address as stated online. Although they got us on a taxi ride to another building, it was a bit troublesome and confused for my friend and I for the first place. The room is cozy and the facilities are quite comprehensive, yet, theres only one way to get us connect to the reception and that we did not have a taiwan number which means theres no way we can get help from reception in case of immediate emergency case. The cleaniness is so-so, theres spots of dirt on the towels provided, its better to bring ur own towel. All in all, it still worths a short staying here provided with a comparatively cheaper rate.

Different location near the train station
When we arrived and checked in, we were told that they had 2 buildings, and we would be located into another one which is near the Ximen station. We were okay about that because we needed to catch an early train the next morning. But I have to say that the new surrounding area seemed very dodgy, the lift took a while to open and the room door only had one lock. I'm not very sure if I would like to come back again.

It was a bit creepy when we first arrived. The area is dark and quite old, if you have a lot of lagage, you may have to carry them all up youself using the stairs (no elevator). The facility of the room is old, again, especially the toilet, but the cleanines is fine. Staffs are very nice and the location is perfect, pretty much close to everything. Overall, I'll rate it 4/5.

Cleanliness is an issue here. Room was not cleaned properly. Other than that, location wise it was very convenient as it was located at Ximending and there were shops and foods nearby. Streets art everywhere which I found it quite awesome.

the staffs are really friendly however the hotel is really terrible. There is nothing like the pictures. The room is small which is fine. But it's leaking from some maintainance work in the hotel and flooded to our room, under our bed....

Very tiny hotel with nearly no facilities
I lived there with my boyfriend for 3 nights, the room is so small that after you enter the room, you can already reach the bed in 1 step, and the bathroom is next to the bed, another 1 step only, no tables but only little space is allowed to open 1 luggage only. Understanding that there is no lift, I'm ok with that (although I lived on the 5th floor). However, we haven't ate in the hotel, but we found many ants the second morning!! We even need to buy some cleaning agent to clean the room ourselves. We don't dare to eat in the hotel and drink water only inside. In the second night, ants come out again and climb to our bed and we only discover when we woke up, so disgusting! I asked them to change the bed sheets the next morning... A bit better afterwards but there are still ants on the floor... I am not choosing this hotel again when I visit Taipei... I believe there are a lot more choices with this price range, it does not worth such price.

The interior is totally different from what you see on the website. The rooms are in a different building and it's so hard to find. There is no elevator and the room is not clean. There is even a unknown red jelly like substance on the towel provided.

Close to MRT. Rooms for four is huge. Very confortable bed. On the fourth floor so its not suitable if travelling with too many luggages or with elderly. Other than that, it's pretty great for the price we are paying.

I would say this is more like an apartment with a room and bathroom. most of the staff are young men and they were helpful and we found out they do all the cleaning everyday so thumbs up to that! they helped carry our luggage up to our room as there was no lift. overall I was okay with it but I think if u really mind cleanliness, this is not a sparkly clean place. the bathroom is simple and there were ants crawling on the walls and sink from time to time. the shower wasn't very strong. however the location is convenient and the surrounding has lots of shops and eateries.

Hotel close to Ximending
My room is situated away from the main building of the hotel, in another building about 50m away, tuck in a tight alley and it seems to me my room, is located in this alienated building with other tenants who are long-time occupants, and im the only short term stayer. 5th floor, and no lift. Maybe im the only the unlucky few. The salvation is that the place is close to ximending, and the staffs are quite ok, and one of them help to carry our luggage up.
