There was a large piler in the middle of the room, that was nothing like the picture they show on there website. It was in the way of everything and took up half of the living space.

Hotel is nearby mrt station, room very small but clean. It’s very noisy as the room no sound proof which u can hear the Neightbour talking. And they not consider others that till midnight. Call reception to stop them but still not effective.

Good clean property. Absolutely no complaints and would stay there again. Staff was friendly and attempted to go the extra mile when we had a need. There is no early check-in so an all-night flight landing in the morning like we had is difficult to not have a place to get refreshed for our first day, but otherwise, all great.

I liked the 24 hr coffee & complimentary bottled waters daily. It was nice that there was a shower door so the bathroom floor doesn’t get wet. Only thing I didnt like was there no mirrors in the the room, only 1 small one in testroom, & no windows at all. They cleaned the room daily, replaced our towels & there were complimentary toothbrushes, razor, floss.

Room is okay but the wall is thin that we can hear baby crying in the night. TV control not working but got fix once we informed the staff. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The internet at this property does not work. There was washer and dryer service on the top floor that was not mentioned and I didn't find out till the last day I was there.

Not so great but Good location
2nd floor room on a very busy and loud street ( heard buses all night long). Room is all windows including the bathroom and shower room. Noise level is pretty loud even with white noise (which we brought) running all night. Breakfast Buffett is Chinese style and my family wouldn’t eat it. Coffee machine is the most basic I have ever seen and couldn’t satisfy my only desire in the morning which is decent coffee. Hard beds and hard pillows. We paid $100 per night which is rediculously overpriced. This place is worth $50 a night tops.

Only nearby the station.There is water and coffee provided at the reception area. The bed not so good because when you lie down it sink in and no soap provided at the basin.No place to hang your clothing in the bathroom.The ventilating fan cannot switch off and noisy at night.No window in the room.

Taipei group tour with FF platinum friends...
The hotel we stayed us is amazing for the price paid. It is at 90 Zhonghua road.. Although caution is noted that other branches is not so comfortable with smaller rooms. Also to be noted is there are lots of diary hotels in and around ximenting area, so easy to get confused.

Near to MRT station. The room partition is too thin. We can hear our neighbor conversation at after midnight hence couldn't get a good sleep. The guest should be informed not to talk to loud in their room after 10 pm.

The property is just a 5-minute walk from Ximen Station, which is a perfect spot for tourists and foodies. If only the blanket on top were not so dusty, I would surely give the place a five star as its price is more than decent and neat!

We love Diary of Taipei Hotel - Ximen Station :)
I love the hotel, room is good and spacious enough for me and my cousin, they have unlimited water and coffee at the lobby which we love very much. Bathroom is nice and clean. They clean the room and we get fresh new towels everyday. Breakfast is also good and different everyday (though i miss our silogs :) ) The location is sooo good, near mrt, shopping stores, street foods, restaurants, coffee shops, convenient stores.
