"Truly amazing resort - on par with Bora Bora"
We stayed for 11 days and truly enjoyed the entire experience. The staff were amazing, friendly, knew our names and our favorite drinks every time we walked to the bars/restaurants. Check-in was easy and friendly. We were in Bungalow 9 which was amazing - we couldn't see any other huts from our bungalow or our deck. Sunrise huts are great because they get full sun on the deck from sunrise until about 4:30pm which is awesome! Some of the other units didn't have full sun all day.
We have been to Bora Bora, which we loved, and this resort was just as good for much less $$. The restaurants were fantastic and the food excellent, and considering it is located on a very small island, the pricing was quite reasonable ($5 for beer, $11 for glass of wine, $15 for fruity drinks, most entrees are $30-$40. The gourmet restaurant is amazing (pricy, but great food inside with air conditioning). The Polynesian night dinner was amazing (we were lucky to be there for 2 of them). They offer a buffet of 40+ local dishes which were all amazing.
This resort is great for couples. There were families there as well, but beyond kayaks, snorkeling and the pool there isn't much else for kids. I would recommend this resort for couples looking to unwind and relax. Plenty of great excursions though.
The rooms were amazing, and much bigger than in the pictures. The decks are huge, again much bigger in person. We saw sting rays, lemon sharks, small octopus, and tons of fish.
