Cons: I could not get my internet connection to work.
This is a wonderful 1925 home, beautifully restored. Very accommodating staff and excellent breakfast.

Great room, delicious breakfast, fantastic hosts.

Pros: Small old house in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Worth a walk around the area to see the houses.
Cons: The grounds certainly needs a lot of work. It's a work in progress, but not a deal breaker by any means.
Location: Not much within walking distance so drive to: Museum of Glass, Tacoma Glass Blowing Studio, Washing State History Museum, Uncorked Canvas.
Loved staying here and will definitely go back. The room was just the right size (stayed in Caserta) for the two of us celebrating our 18th anniversary. Breakfast both days was fantastic! Fresh berries, yogurt, french toast the first day; salmon quiche, more fresh berries, toast and jam the second day. (there was no minimum stay...we just chose to stay two days). We went to the Museum of Glass for the day and also the Tacoma Glass Blowing Studio to make our own glass plates! Our hosts (Martin and Toni) were very friendly and loved to chat. Very easy to talk to and more than willing to accommodate special requests. They started with a tour of the beautiful old home built in the 1920s, showed us all the available rooms and all the amenities. A lovely couple, would enjoy going back just to visit with them more! Breakfast felt like it was with family, Toni and Martin made everyone feel welcome and at home. Breakfast could be eaten anywhere on the grounds, but we all ate together at the large dining room table which was fun to have the opportunity to meet the others staying in the house. We look forward to going back.

The Villa is a gorgeous mansion in a great North end location in Tacoma. The proprietors of this B&B are Toni and her husband Martin, who are genial and attentive hosts. The breakfasts are generous and wonderful. The rooms are lovely and you feel quite pampered. I have stayed in 5 of the rooms and have always been pleased.

As close to heaven as you get!

We were on our honeymoon and The Villa was the very best place we could have stayed. Toni and Martin are the best. The room was huge, the view was out of this world and the food was to die for. We are already planning our return trip so we can stay at The Villa again.

The Villa Inn!!

Posted 01-Apr-2015 on Hotels
Lovely couple greeted us at their B&B. This is a mansion built in 1925. For the most part, the home is in excellent condition. There are some signs of wear/tear & definitely some landscape attention. Our room was a, stiff for my comfort, Queen with too few, too thin pillows. Not my best nights sleep. Roomy bath with separate whirlpool tub & shower. Breakfast was served promptly at 9:00 a.m. as promised. Goblet of fresh fruit, toast, coffee, juice, egg soufflé & baklava for desert!! Pretty tasty! Final score: We enjoyed our stay at the The Villa Inn. The owners are very lovely people and take good care of their home. They also take great care of their guests. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door.

Excellent service and meals. Homey atmosphere. The facility needs work, however.

Best B&B Ever!

Posted 06-Jan-2015
Pros: Absolutely everything! They have shared their home with others in the best way possible!
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Beautifully located with multiple balconies with views of the water!
We can't say enough about this absolutely exquisite villa! In our 25 years of marriage, we agree that this was our favorite place to stay and we can't wait to return. The owners are gracious, warm, generous, and great conversationalists! Toni made the best three breakfasts and made sure we were comfortable, happy and well fed before each of our days out exploring. There were seven Christmas trees, each beautifully decorated inside the house (three of them in the first landing of the splendid staircase). Martin waited up for us, as we arrived well after midnight the first night. They knew the area and were able to give us helpful tips and it felt more like we were staying with good friends than just at a hotel. If you go to Tacoma, you MUST stay at The Villa and you will never want to stay at a hotel again. The home was replete with good books, board games, comfortable chairs, antiques, charm and great people! We will definitely stay there again. Thanks for the hospitality, Toni and Martin!
