WiFi Trouble

Posted 14-Oct-2014
Pros: Very clean, nice staff, very quiet, for being next to a freeway...
Cons: WiFi...
Location: Bedroom community south of Seattle... DUH...
The WiFi is extra, and did not work for us... Fortunately there is a MickeyD's just across the freeway, where is does work, and was very easy to connect to, and very fast...

Affordable place close to great restaurant

Posted 15-Sep-2014
Pros: It's all OK.
Cons: They are going to have a remodeling soon.
Location: Johnny's restaurant is great. Strawberry waffles with ice cream!
For the money, one cannot beat Fife Motel 6. I stayed for 7 weeks. It saved me a lot of money. And the staff was real nice.

Very Bare Minimum

Posted 07-Aug-2014
Pros: It was quiet to sleep, even though the I-5 was right there.
Cons: Provide some of the basics.
Location: There was a chevron gas station next door which was handy to buy things. The restraunt beside the motel was really good for breakfast.
The room was tiny, but clean. But it had no bar fridge to put my water, no shampoo or conditioner, no pen or note pad, no pressure for water, no clock radio for the time, tiny old tv, no little coffee pot, I wanted to make hot water for tea so I couldn't even do this. The beds were a little hard and old. I would not stay here again. Plus, the phone did weird things and did not work like in other hotels.

Near everything

conveniently located near local attractions. Staff was friendly, courteous, helpful. Rooms were clean and adequate, no mini fridge in room for leftovers, but staff stored in there own fridge.

We had reserved two non-smoking rooms. One smelled so strongly of smoke that we were given a replacement room, which got flooded. The second room smelled musty. The employees were all very nice and helpful. We cancelled our third night due to the smells. I think the problems are due to inconsiderate customers who smoke in non-smoking room and leave their room with the shower running (cause of flooding).

It was close to my event, but that's it.

My stay was just OK. It's Motel 6 and not the 4 Seasons. I didn't know that they have smoking and non-smoking rooms. I was in a smoking room and it was gross! I don't smoke. When I booked online there wasn't anything to choose smoking or non-smoking rooms. At least I wasn't on the Hi-way side. That side is quite noisy. Sometimes the big trucks come in and stay and if they are a refrigeration truck they're quite noisy. So add that with the Hi-way noise, well don't stay on that side of the motel.

5 minutes to Wild Waves

I thought the staff was great, the pool was a nice addition, very quiet, right off the freeway for easy access. My kids enjoyed the pool area and we will definitely stay again!! Price was great too!!

Ok Place To stay- Fair Price

Posted 22-Jul-2014 on Hotels.com
Recognizing that we were spending very little time in our room, outside of sleeping of course, this Motel 6 was just fine. Location off the freeway is convenient and it is adjacent to Johnny's restaurant and lounge which serves a great breakfast. We wouldn't hesitate to book again but know it is not a five star facility. Note: We made reservations and are glad we did as it was a completely booked facility-- that's a positive sign!

A decent stay

Keep in mind that this is the lowest priced chain motel so the towels are going to be a little scratchier, the bed a little harder, and the tv reception a little fuzzier, but overall it wasn't a bad place to stay. It's no frills so that's no hair dryer, fridge, or iron however I was surprised that it also meant no shampoo/conditioner. It's right next to the freeway so there's lots of road noise. I turned on the fan which helped to drown it out. Easy freeway access, lots of nearby places to eat and a pool are some of the pros. I'd stay here again for the price I paid.
