“very convenient”

“Loud Toilet, No Breakfast Bar”

It's a fifteen dollar cab ride to Tacoma and twice as expensive as 3 other hotel/motels around them. I thought there was going to be a complimentary breakfast are, coffee at least, but no. Worse, my toilet ran all night and even with the door closed I could hear it. The staff was fine but not inspired to be helpful. The place was empty yet my smoking room was in the most distance location; far from the elevator. Worse, they (or expedia) charged me 16 bucks extra because i got the day wrong. Not my fave place.

“Fit our needs perfectly.”

I was concerned about some of the reviews I read prior to going but was very pleasantly surprised. My husband and I did not find the bed too hard as so many had previously commented. The desk in the room was handy. We did not make use of the kitchenette because we were out of the room a good amount of the time. I must say if my husband wasn't already familiar with the area it would have been awkward to find. The instructions we received when I made the reservation were well done. All in all it served our needs quite well. The staff was friendly and the price was right.

“Good deal & friendly staff.”

The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but everything else was fine.

Area recommendations

We did not see much of the neighborhood, it was dark when we got there and early when we left. It seemed fine and not too noisy for being on a busy road.

“Good Value for your money”

Carpet was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pillow has some smell, it should be washed after each use. There was no pillow protector. This is a budget hotel but clean to have a good night rest. The stairs have a musty smell, so try and use the elevators.

“Would go back anytime”

This hotel is great for people that do not like to eat out all the time. The mini kitchen amenities were great. The room was clean and well kept up. The only complaint is that the bed was really hard, but I would still go back anytime.

“You get what you pay for”

This hotel was almost across the board mediocre except when it came to comfort. It was the most uncomfortable hotel bed I have experienced in quite some time. The staff were mostly friendly and the location was good.

“Terrible experience, Fife is like being in the ghetto area of Tacoma”

We were not impressed at all by any part of this hotel, Price was good, but you get what you pay for.

The Tacoma area next to Fife is very beautiful. I would choose to stay there next time.

“Great Rates. An interesting experience”

The rate was the primary reason that I chose this hotel. I made reservations at this hotel as it was close to an event I was attending. The location was easy to find and had good access to the freeway. I have not previously stayed in an extended stay hotel. The room was clean and roomy. The maid service was different than most hotels. You must bring your towels to the front desk to get clean ones and there is a charge for maid service and clean linens. At check in there were several people asking why their rooms had not been made up. I don't know if they were unaware of the way maid services worked in this hotel. This made for an interesting check in. The staff was somewhat overwhelmed by all this activity. Overall my stay was great and the rate was a great value. I did not mind the maid service and with my Expedia bonus made this stay a REAL DEAL!
