Pros: Staff was great
Cons: Bartender awful
Staff took good care of me. front desk people were very friendly . last year the bartender tried to give me a plastic cup of beer . I refused the plastic . Her helper gave me a glass which kept me in the bar but the helper was reprimanded. I was told the bartender throws the plastic away but the glasses have to be washed. This past May same trouble with same bartender . I reported her this time to the night desk person. By this time 6 or 8 people tired of her and we all went to Cheers and received good service. Other than the bartender the hotel is where I continue to stay.

Location: Nice walk of less than a mile along the waterfront to the Glass Museum. Don't miss walking over the Bridge of Glass.
Very clean and comfortable room. The full breakfast was very good! Only cheesy thing was that the TV channels said HBO, but it wasn't there.

Cons: More fruit for breakfast would be great!
Location: Very close to downtown, Glass museum, Pacific ave. with great restaurants, Tacoma Art museum.
First stayed at Tacoma Dome BW about four years ago for a wedding, found it convenient, comfortable. Have recently been back twice as my daughter is going to school in Tacoma. It is close to I-5 but very quiet, and comfortable. Great parking garage as long as you avoid driving a large truck.

Excellent location for Tacoma Dome events

Pros: Staff, cleanliness, room size/layout. It was also nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in our room. Our king size room was comfortable.
Cons: The mattresses were a bit hard and surprisingly uncomfortable to sleep on.
It was absolutely a lovely facility. Very impressed with the staff, cleanliness, and accommodations. The horns and whistles from the trains starting at 5:30 were a bit annoying, but the over all conditions made up for that one issue. We were very happy to be able to walk across the parking lot to get to the Tacoma Dome. We would recommend this hotel to anyone working or attending events there.

I wouldn't spend more than one night here.

The hotel is OK. Upon a late night arrival, the front desk clerk was friendly, efficient and helpful. The lobby, elevators, and common hallways are way past their prime in appearance. My room was extremely small and the decor uninviting. It did seem clean. There were not sufficient outlets for me to even plug in my phone - I had to move furniture and unplug 2 lamps to charge my phone and computer. Wifi was extremely slow and kept disconnecting. The street noise in my room was very loud (traffic and trains). The complimentary breakfast buffet was OK, nothing amazing, but the food did seem to be refreshed more often than needed and was of good quality, limited choices. The "restaurant" offered few, very basic, selections. Overall, would be fine if you just want a quick stopover in a clean room. It has very easy access to the highway, and the stop for Tacoma's light rail public transportation is very close. Also, the Tacoma Dome is only a few yards away.
