“A real gem!”

This hotel is very well mainainted and simply, but very stylishly designed. All rooms open onto communal terraces which actually feel more like private balconies with plenty of space between the rooms. The swimming pool area and garden are very clean and nicely kept with great access to the beach and main sea front street. The breakfast room is lovely and the coffee is great! The hotel is walking distance to at least two nice restaurants and the beach is wide, clean and the water clear. We will be going back!

“Hotel Villa Mediterranea in Noto”

Het hotel is gelegen aan het strand, zo'n 10 km vanaf het centrum van Noto. De buurt en omgeving van het hotel is armoedig en rommelig. Het hotel is echter prima en heeft kleine eigen parkeergelegenheid. De service en bediening is heel vriendelijk en het ontbijt zeer uitgebreid en luxe. De hotelkamer is netjes en sfeervol ingericht. De nabij gelegen pizzeria Scirocco aan de boulevard is ook een aanrader.

“Villa Midetteranea:friendly beach hotel near Noto”

We arrived at this hotel with no expextations. But we were surprised by its charme and friendly an very helpfull oweners. The rooms are clean, the pool was already filled with water, wich was a nice surprise. The breakfast buffet is perfect, enough choice! Fresh made cappucino or italian coffe are served by a friendly staff member. The hotel is situated near the beach (just cross the street). You can take a beach chair form te hotel with you to enjoy a nice day at the sea. Noto is just a 5 to 10 minute drive away for a good dinner and "passegiata". We have enjoyed our stay here. summery: relaxed, friendly, perfect situated...

Area recommendations
We advise to go to Noto, but for us Sirracuse was a dissapointment. It is in the middle of the city, verry crowded and the greek theater steps were covered in wooden planks. For us;Selinunte was much more worth it!

“Bonne adresse, simple mais avec beaucoup de charme. Bon accueil.”

Nous avons suivi les recommandations des guides et cette fois-ci nous avons bien fait. La journée commence par un bon petit déjeuner sur une terrasse ensoleillée. On se repose un peu dans le coin détente devant la piscine au milieu d'un jardin fleuri avant d'aller à la plage toute proche. A noter, pas de restaurant à l'hôtel. Aller au Sirocco : très bonne adresse à deux pas.

“da non tornarci”

scarsamente confortevole, mancano anche minimi confort come l' acua calda. l' accesso alla spiaggia è fatiscente e occupato da altri bgnanti che cercano l' ombra. colazione minima.

“Le désastre de notre voyage ! À éviter !”

Forte odeur d'urine dans le corridor. Eau non potable.Couvre-lit sale, tête de lit tâchée, sanitaire d'une propreté douteuse et j'en passe ! Petit stationnement. Pas de serviette pour la plage. Il faut transporter chaises et parasols à la plage en traversant, plié en deux, un tunnel sous la route qui nous sépare de la mer. À la réception, vous devez sonner pour avoir du service ! Je ne peux parler du petit déjeuner car nous avons quitté très tôt ...

“eine woche traumurlaub”

ein wunderschönes kleines hotel 30 m vom wunderschönen strand entfernt. toller garten, sehr ordentliches zimmer, hochwertiges frühstück mit nettem service. angenehm wenig gängelung, keine hinweisschilderflut über gewünschtes oder nicht gewünschtes verhalten. sehr nette andere hotelgäste.

Traveller's tip
wichtig: man braucht einen mietwagen, da es nach noto rein ein ganzes stück ist. ansonsten ist die gegend wunderschön, noto, siracusa, catania und taormina haben wir geschafft, ansonsten kann man in dem hotel auch gut abhängen. die partytauglichkeit haben wir allerdings nicht getestet, weil wir vor allem am strand waren.

“Sehr gerne wieder!”

Wenn man sich mit dem spröden Charme von Lido di Noto in der Vorsaison anfreunden kann - was wir konnten - , bietet das Hotel gute Entspannung und Erholung. Saubere, etwas hellhörige, Zimmer; für italienische Verhältnisse ein super Frühstück, schöne Gartenanlage, etc.. Lediglich der Sanitärbereich unserer Unterkunft hat - auch ohne unser Dazutun - stets etwas gemuffelt. Haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Hotel nur empfehlen.

Wandern im angrenzenden Naturschutzgebiet; Cava Grande besuchen; Syrakus besichtigen, ... .
