Worse Hotel Ever
When I first got there the woman at the front desk was VERY rude with an attitude. It was dark all the way to finding your room. First thing I wanted was to take a nice hot shower after a day at the beach. Let it run for SEVERAL+ minutes and water was ice cold and didn’t even get warm. On our way down from the room we found a ROACH on the ground. Told the front desk lady and she was rude and acted as if she didn’t care. I will NEVER be booking there again and hope to receive my money back considering we didn’t stay due to the huge bug.

Not even a muffin to go........
I was very upset I wasn’t told there was nothing but a room to use. I was very upset I couldn’t even get a muffin to go. When advertised a whole meal.

The staff was great but the facility wasn't all that clean. Bar and restaurant never opened. Hot tub was colder then the pool and more then half of there arcade games weren't working and took are money and never worked. A lot of money paid for things not to even open not work

Needs attention
I realize the hotel is under renovations but that does not excuse the cleanliness of the rooms and facility. The pool area had trash and broken pool toys scattered, no towels were clean just heaping baskets of dirty towels. The room was ok but the phone did not work and the towels in the bathroom had holes in them. I expected much more out of this hotel. The hallways were dingy and trash outside was overflowing. Would not go back again.

Both nights we were in the hotel, cars were in the parking lot playing their music loud outside our room. This went on from 1:00 am - 3:00 am both nights. When we called the front desk, nothing was done. They even said the second time we called "What do you want us to do about it, they won't listen to me"> It is your parking lot, take care of it. The hot tub said no one under 18 may enter no exceptions. There were at least 10 kids under 18 in the hot tub at one time even though the capacity was only 8 people total. Due to these kids, the hot tub had to be drained the next day.

Filthy!! Front clerk hanging out with boyfriend barely acknowledged me. Room didn’t even have a shower curtain. Drapes didn’t close lights in my eyes all night. Should have slept in my car.

Needs updating desperately.
The only good thing about this place is the hotels.com discount. I would have been very upset to get this at the normal rate. Peeling walpaper, draps that would close rooms actually smelled a bit. Restaurant/Bar open to pool area so smell or chlorine made the bland eggs at the "hot" breakfast even worse.

Theroom was dirty, fire alarms not working, wall paper peeling, mold growing on bathtub. Dirt, dust, debris from previous person who stayed, on floors behind TVs, and in bathroom. The staff did mention they were going through a 3 million dollar remodel. I would be happy to see what it looks like after, however, they should not offer this type of room.

Thought it would be nice to get a room on. New Year’s Eve to relax a bit. The hotel was far from full as most of the parking lot was empty. Turns out a lot of families with their kids had the same idea. Kids were running through the hallways until 3am. Knocking on doors and running away. At 8 AM a grown adult male thought it would be funny (I assume) to yell “freeze’ outside my bedroom door. I honestly thought billets were going to start flying. It is without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had staying anywhere. I packed my stuff and left at 8 am on New Year’s Day. I want my money back.

Nice people but kind of dingy
Everyone was very nice but the room was loud and when we got up to get going in the morning there was no hot water to shower. The outside door to get in by our room was broken so we had to carry our stuff further than necessary. There were also stains on the ceiling from silly string and the smoke detector looked like it had previously blown a fuse and had charred the wall.

After reading other reviews, I was okay with booking this hotel. However upon arriving, I found the layout very inconvenient (there is 1 elevator at the very back so access to 2nd floor rooms at the front is difficult), and after trying 3 separate rooms, they all had maintenance problems that were unfixable. I was unable to stay. I will say the amenities, such as the pool, lounge and dining area looked nice, but I was unable to use them.

The entryway at parking area D was icy and very slippery outside and inside the door. It was freezing in the elevator. We had 2 adjoining rooms for 5 adults but only 3 bath size towels. We went a couple of times to the front desk to ask for the towels as well as a blanket for the pull out sofa and 2 pillows, but never received any of those items from the front desk clerk. She told us that the laundry staff would not be back until the next day. I asked if she could just go get a couple towels from a vacant room and when she took me to a room to get some, the room was totally torn apart due to renovation; there were no towels. I asked for towels for the pool area and was told she had just given out the last several to some little girls who were having a party and ran out of towels. We also went to use the pool and hot tub, but there were no towels there either. The maintenance staff person went to the laundry area and got some. He even got us bath size towels when we told him we didn't have enough. After getting out of the hot tub, there was a cockroach near our shoes that crawled in to a crack in the wall. The dial to adjust the heater in the room was missing and it was difficult to adjust; it was very warm so we had to turn on the cooling system. The room and overall hotel were not as clean and well kept as other times I have stayed at this hotel. There was garbage in the halls, stained carpets, and dirty. Did not refill breakfast items. I will not stay here again.

This hotel is definitely ready for a makeover. The rooms and halls felt dark. There were ceiling tiles missing by the vending machines, and someone had gotten paint on all the door knobs while repainting the doors to the rooms--messy. The staff were good, but they didn't have that cheery empowered feeling that one hopes for.

Generous breakfast - that’s where the good news ends. The property needs a solid 7 figures invested in paint and repairs. Had to switch rooms on my last night because the door fell apart...while I was gone! (Note on bed saying I needed to check with front desk.) Bathroom door paint literally peeling off. TV remote in 2nd room didn’t work. Phone had to be unplugged to avoid 4am wake up calls. Showers barely worked, both rooms. But worst, when I checked out, asked manager (I think he was) to advise staff that the green coffee packs are decaf, and to leave 2 each of those and the brown packs when setting the room instead of all green...he made the excuse that they had a supply problem. I said, ok...but a regular coffee drinker doesn’t bother with decaf. No apology for either the room move nor the coffee. Cheap stay but I’ll be elsewhere next visit.

Disappointing
The pool was a good size but it was freezing in the pool area, there were clumps of hair floating all around in the pool. It was so bad my kids didn’t even want to go back in the rest of the evening. The game room isn’t a game room, 3 claw machines and one actual video game. No microwave in the room, I didn’t say anything because we were only there for a night but still.. Just disappointing
