Just spent two weeks at the Sydney Harbour Marriott and the service was truly over the top. I made use of several facilities - each staff member interaction involved a friendly smile with professional service. The entire team is engaged to the point where they refer to you by name..

Location: Circular quay on your door step Trains and boats , fab location.
Got upgraded to a view of the bridge , amazing. Room and bathroom a little tired. Booked as a five star not sure it is any more Staff lovely , food ok.

GREAT HOTEL, FOOD EXPENSIVE

THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE AND THE STAFF EXCELLENT. THE FOOD WAS VERY EXPENSIVE BUT I FOUND THIS TO BE TRUE IN ALL AUSTRALIA. LOCATION OF HOTEL EXCELLENT. ONE HALF BLOCK TO A STARBUCKS, CIRCULAR QUAY, MCDONALDS, SMALL GROCERY STORE. CAN RIDE FROM AIRPORT TO HOTEL 80.00. MUCH BETTER TO TAKE THE TRAIN TO CIRCULAR QUAY AND WALK TO HOTEL. 5 MINUTE WALK.

We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Circular Quay (pronounced "key" for us non-Aussies). Terrific location less than a block from the train station, harbor ferries, and ultra convenient access to the Opera House and The Rocks / Harbor Bridge area. Plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, too. The staff was efficient, the rooms were comfortable and clean although slightly dated for a Marriott property. The laundry and valet service was slow, however, and with no apparent reason. We would stay here again.

Pros: Great view, comfortable room and super friendly and attentive staff!!
Location: Perfect stop in a footstep away from The Rocks, Circular Quay, Harbour Bridge and Opera House!
Absolutely divine stay! Booked the Opera House View room and it certainly delivered with a room on the 30th floor and a fantastic view of Circular Quay and the Opera House which was even more special lit up for Vivid - even though I'm a Sydney-sider it was still amazing! Staff were also SO friendly and helpful!! Definitely stay again!

First trip to Australia

Pros: Location
We were told the reservation we'd made included two complimentary breakfasts. Upon arrival, were told we only had one! Hotel staff offered her apologies and arranged for a second breakfast. When we went to breakfast the next morning, we were told they had NO record of any breakfasts…and offered their apology. When we checked out and were asked if we'd enjoyed our stay, we shared what had happened regarding the breakfasts. The clerk at the front desk offered his apology…and that was it!!! We have hundreds of thousands Marriott points! I have NEVER been more disappointed in Marriott! Ironically, we'd spent the earlier part of our trip at the Sydney Shangri-La. Their hotel was not only beautiful, but their staff made certain that their customers satisfaction was paramount!!!
