“Great rooms and brilliant location”
Great
“Not perfect, but more than good”
Excellent location for strolling the harborside and the Rocks, and for ferry service. Very good concierge services. Restaurant food good--not great--and like every other meal in Australia, far too expensive. The rooms were recently redone and have excellent seating and totally inadequate drawer space for putting things away. Also if you want a tub be sure to ask, as some of the rooms have only showers--and nobody mentioned that, so I had to change rooms. The At Your Service button on the phone is a great idea.
“Sydney Long Weekend Break”
Good central hotel close to the tourist attractions, CBD and shopping district. Hotel staff were friendly and courteous at all times. A minor problem on checking in was quickly rectified. The rooms appear to have been recently redecorate, spacious and in good condition.
“In a great location, and very good value”
A very nice hotel in a good location, has a great pool
“Absolutely fantastic!”
The Marriott at Sydney Harbour is exquisite. We were lucky enough to find a deal that gave us an Opera House view. The room was amazing. The beds are the comfiest beds I have ever been in. Could lie there all day. The location is perfect. Within 2 minutes, you can walk to Circular Quay (Opera House, Harbour Bridge and The Rocks area). In about 5 to 10 minutes you can head down Pitt St (where the hotel is) and be right in the middle of the shopping district. A 20 minute walk will get you to Darling Harbour. I highly recommend this hotel. I'm assuming it can be pricey, without any deal, but if you find a good one, definitely snap it up! It's worth every dollar.
“We have found our favourite Hotel in Sydney. We will be back each time.”
Wonderful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful view of the harbour and perfect location as a base to get around the City.
“Great Stay”
Nice and tidy hotel. Services were great although the valet parking could be a bit slow in time. Overall, great experience and price was good.
“Overpriced”
For the price paid, hotel is definitely not worth it. Better off staying elsewhere. We paid for the deluxe Opera house view and got a room on the 20th floor near the elevator. Not happy. View was nothing special. Bit of a hit and miss with the front desk. Great service from all but from one lady (Amy) she treated us like we were not good enough to be there. Wouldn't stay here again - not worth the price.
“rooms are a bit "spartan"”
the airm chairs in the sitting room were uncomfortable, otherwise the hotel was good but not exceptional
“Excellent hotel”
Excellent hotel, nice and polite staff, in close proximity to all Sydney attractions. We will be back to you guys again. 9/10/
