“An Excellent Bed and Breakfast”

This is a perfect place for visitors not needing five star hotel services such as 24 room service and concierge services.The building retains the atmosphere of a Victorian terraced home with appropriate decor yet modern facilities.It is in a very good location with Kings Cross Station and stop for hop-on, hop-off tourist bus only five minutes walking distance.It is an easy twenty minutes away walking distance from the National Gallery. There are many good restaurants nearby including an good-quality Italian restaurant opposite with panoramic views of Sydney and a boutique French restaurant 100 meters away. The staff are most helpful and attentive and do their best to help guests feel at home. The staff takes care of transporting luggage to the rooms.The good continental breakfast with excellent coffee is served in in an enclosed terrace with running fountain and newspapers are readily available in the adjoining lounge.The wireless internet in the rooms, at additional cost, is fast. This is one of the best bed and breakfast establishments I have ever stayed in but it does not come cheaply.

Area recommendations
Go to Circular Key either by foot (30 minutes) or by train to Town Hall(2 stops) and change (2 stops) in the direction of Wynard) and take ferry to Manly or Watson's Bay/Rose Bay or the Toronga Park Zoo. Note that seniors over 60 can get a $2.40 day pass that will get you on all trains, buses and ferries. Near Circular Quay is the Opera house which is well worth visiting.

“Like coming home.”

It had been almost 5 years since we were here last, but we were made to feel as if it had been only yesterday.

Area recommendations
Potts Pointe. It is an eclectic mix of shops and residences within easy walking distance of public transportation and, for the hardy, easy hiking distance of the City Center, Circular Quay and the Opera House.
