This property was just amazing, to be honest the staff who worked there made this property stand out and make my stay amazing. The property itself was beautiful and exceeded my expectation but what stood out the most was the staff , from the moment you get on the property all the staff are tentative to all the details of how to make your stay amazing , I can’t remember the name of the person who checked us in but he was amazing and I just want to say thank you to all the staff who helped make our stay amazing from the valet , doormen , cleaning staff and kind gentleman at the obelisk restaurant (yahya) who helped us have an amazing dinner and was very helpful with information about the property and things to do . I will definitely be coming back and recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a couples retreat or a family setting getaway , also my wife had an amazing time at the spa which made her very relaxed.

We received a 20 JOD voucher from expedia to use; we asked for it at check in, yet the receptionist told us to order whatever we want and then it will be refunded at check out. However, we discovered that ordering a shisha is not covered by the voucher at check out, and hence we paid for it and could not use the voucher. It went to waste.

Lovely hotel by the Dead Sea
Incredible service and fantastic team at this hotel. The breakfast buffet and restaurants for dinner are outstanding. The pools were great although one was shut while we stayed for repair. Condition of room was slightly ‘tired’ but this didn’t distract from our stay.

We loved everything about this hotel. On arrival we were instantly made to feel welcome by the reception desk as well as the team who look after the panoramic/spa rooms where we stayed. Service was attentive but not intrusive, all areas spotless clean, restaurants good and pools relaxing. The spa was incredible as was the Dead Sea experience at the private beach. The view of the Dead Sea from the hotel and stunning sunsets topped the positive experience off. The resort is much bigger than we were anticipating but buggy’s are on hand to shuttle you around if needed.

An honest and fair review: I came on a Monday evening and stayed for 2 nights. The buffet dinner on Monday night was mediocre and the staff seemed to be a little off their game. I noticed a difference the following night on Tuesday, however. The second night had an excellent buffet and the staff seemed to be on point. I was told the Kempinski is the best property on the Dead Sea in Jordan. But honestly, the room itself was nothing special. The property grounds are beautiful and the pools are nice and private access to Dead Sea is a plus. But frankly, I thought the price I paid per night was over-inflated. It boasts itself as a 5 star hotel but it’s really a 4 in my opinion.

The property was top notch, rooms are beautiful, clean with comfortable bedding. The service was great with friendly staff. What stood out as a negative is pool hours; they’re only open at the most unpleasant summer temperature hours. If you want to take a swim at 9 at night or 7 in the morning when summer temperatures are tolerable, you’re out of luck. Also, no hotel store is available if you want to buy something like swim trunks, toothpaste, or headache medicine. Lovely hotel but not too practical in a lot of areas.

Excellent hotel & experience. Only downside was the gift shop is a rip off, prices are ridiculously high for standard products. The hotel should review this as it does leave a sour taste. If staying there make sure you bring enough sun cream otherwise you could find yourself paying £33 for a bottle.

Everything was great. Wonderful palce with great facilities. We have been with two little kids age 2 and 4 and half. The guys at the breakfast and dinner were really great, especially Yahya and Zaher to be mentioned. The housekeeping kept our room clean and tidy. Thanks to Laith Yousef. We would like to mention Maher the lifeguard too. We had message at the extraordinary spa. Sakunda and the other lady were really professional.
