Check in was quick and the room was as described. The hotel is a little way out from the centre, but you should be aware of this if you are booking this place. The SweetRooms are worth paying the extra for as the ordinary rooms are really basic. The hotel is really due for a refurbishment and this can be seen in the general condition of the rooms. However, it is clean and does the job when there is availability at a good price.

We generally receive compliments on our cleanliness and amenities, so it's surprising to hear your experience with the bathroom and towels. I want to assure you that we have a dedicated team to assist with any in-room issues, including tech support for those pesky TV gremlins. Very friendly staff, great help upon arrival and helped us out with our dog. The breakfast was fantastic! A lot better than more expensive places ive stayed! The bed was a bit too firm for my liking but all in all excellent value for money.

We stayed here after we went for a birthday meal, and were delighted. On arrival the young man behind the desk was so welcoming. The room was immaculate and so lovely. We even took a trip to the bar and the same young man held a lovely conversation. Thank you for our stay!

The hotel is very close to the main road from the M4, making it a convenient location - easy access from the motorway and just a short drive into the city, or wonderful Gower beyond. There is ample parking available, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The Ibis would do well to remove cars parking on the slip road into the hotel during working hours - they are an obstruction and nuisance. Rooms on the main road side are noisy - next time I'll make sure we're on the car park side.

very clean and well maintained property, staff courteous and friendly, my only negative was that i had booked 2 x double rooms, upon arrival i was told that the booking was for 1 room only. I have checked my booking and it was definitely for 2 double rooms. Thankfully they had a single room available not ideal but it sufficed.

The shower drain is semi clogged, the sink drain leaks water onto the floor. A bit pricey. Comfortable bed large clean room and plenty of free parking.

A little noisy, but depends on room allocation!
Have stayed previously, in a ground floor room as we had a dog with us and was great. This time was in the second floor overlooking Fabian Way, which was quite noisy even in the evening so hence could not open the window making room really warm!
