“Not a four star - maybe a three star”
The main restaurant was closed, only a buffet was available. Big party in town - lot of drunk people around in bar and around hotel. Rooms are like a Holiday Inn - not like a Hyatt or similar. Staff was friendly, but asking for additional pillows - they did not have them. Car was parked in a public parking garage and off course received a ding !!!

Nice hotel, with larger than avergae rooms, but as typically to European hotels they charge extra for everything: To park the car, to use the internet and for breakfast. Petty
“Great Location - Very friendly service”
I spent one night at this hotel on my way to a nearby town for a business meeting. The hotel is not very modern, but it is definitely a place I would recommend. And wow, what a perfect location. Just minutes walk to downtown Ulm and right on the Danube river. Great restaurant as well. Will definitely come back.

Die ideale Übernachtung, wenn Sie Gast im CCU sind oder gerne von der Donau aus in die City starten möchten. Ulm hat vieles zu bieten und ist für ein Wochenende sehr zu empfehlen.
“Glanz vergangener Tage”
Für einen kurzen geschäftlichen Aufenthalt war das Hotel ok, allerdings orientiert sich der Preis offenbar noch am Glanz vergangener Tage. Die Zimmer zwar absolut sauber und gepflegt allerdings ist nicht zu übersehen, dass dringend eine Frischzellenkur notwendig ist. Es ist nicht zu verstehen warum in selbsternannten "Häusern am Platz" immer noch Duschvorhänge zu finden sind. Auch der winzige Röhrenfernseher wirkt heutzutage irgendwie fehl am Platz. Nicht wirklich zufrieden war ich mit dem Service. Da ich am Abreisetag früh weg musste, wollte ich bereits am Vorabend die Rechnung mit Parkhaus begleichen. Dies war ohne Angabe von Gründen nicht möglich. Bei Zimmerausstattung, Freundlichkeit beim Service und Preis ist das Maritim in Ulm sicherlich nur noch Platz 2 in Ulm. Für kürzere Aufenthalte kann man es als Alternative aber sicherlich nach wie vor empfehlen.

Modernes Großhotel, mit großen Zimmern, Hallenbad mit Sauna und Dampfbad, ruhig direkt an der Donau gelegen. Frühstück kann man auch ausserhalb genießen und wird dafür keine 15,-- € zahlen. Direkt an der Veranstaltungshalle

“Das Hotel ist Stadt nah”
Meiner Schwester und mir hat das Hotel garnicht gefallen. Das Zimmer war im großen und ganzen ok. aber das was uns sehr gefehlt hat, war eine funktionierende Klimaanlage. Denn wir wahren im 13ten Stock und auch wenn es draussen kalt war, dort oben stand die Luft und es war wirklich sehr warm. Der Preis für das Frühstück war auch sehr hoch. Aber man konnte zum glück auch gut außerhalb Frühstücken. Wir sind ehrlich, für das Geld hätten wir was besseres erhofft!!!!!
“Good hotel, beautiful view”
The hotel is not too far from the city centre, can be reached from the train station by bus no 6 (Only 6 minutes by bus, get off at the Gaensturm Station + 5 minutes by foot). The hotel is clean, our double room on the 5th floor has nice view of the Donau River, but unfortunately it is totally overheated (at least 27 C!). You have 2 options here: either you open the window, can have the fresh air in but hear all the screaming and shrieking from the guests from the pub outside, or close the window, feel like being barbecued but hear no noise from the outside. The 'fitness centre' consists of 3-4 equipments. The sauna/steambath will be ready in 15 minutes after you turn it on. Plenty of towels. You have to ask for bathrobe and slippers at the reception. No tea making facility. 3 receptionist speak little English, only 1 speaks English fluently, but they all are very helpful. Dinner is rather expensive.
