Stayed 2 days.April 13 thru April 15.2024.Big king size bed.Clean safe bathroom.Buffet style breakfast.Bacon and eggs.Energy breakfast to drive to Lassen Volcanic Park.Would definitely stay here next time I’m in Chester.

We had a very nice stay in a clean room and was surprised by the nice breakfast. Since we had to leave one morning prior to breakfast hours, a "to-go" breakfast bag was made and ready at the front counter. Would really like an electric car charger available at the motel which would have given the facility a five star rating.

Chester is a quaint, beautiful town. The people are very friendly and happy to help. The Rose Quartz Inn is a great property, very comfortable and conveniently located.

Though there was construction on the property going on, my stay was quiet. The hotel was clean and well appointed, the staff was great and the room was ample and clean. Parking was great and critical for me as I had a boat in tow.

We arrived in the early afternoon of Thanksgiving day. From the moment we arrived, our travel needs were accommodated in a generous and friendly way. Our family had traveled with our Thanksgiving meal, expecting to heat it up and enjoy it in one hotel room; instead, the staff allowed us access to their breakfast room so that we could have a proper spread at a table and chairs. The following morning, the free breakfast was generous and replete. The staff's generosity and customer service was amazing. The rooms were nicely appointed and very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again, the next time we are traveling in this area.

Very convenient place to stay if visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park — eat (free) breakfast there, drive to the park, and relax in the hot tub that evening. Nice restaurant next door.

We were quite pleased with our room and amenities this small town hotel offered. The room and bathroom were large enough to accommodate my family of five as well as our golden retriever. That’s quite a tough task especially with two teen daughters! We’ve camped up at Lake Almanor for many years but have never stayed in Chester. It was a nice change of pace and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and quiet and they added nice touches throughout the day like offering a full breakfast in the morning and cookies, coffee, cold lemonade and tea in the afternoon. We will definitely stay here again!

Property is centrally located in town. They let us check in early so that was much appreciated since we had to go to a wedding and wanted to make sure we didn’t have to leave everything in the car until after the wedding

This property was under construction. The hot tub was unavailable. We received none of our discounts because we reserved our room with Expedia. The morning of our check out which was 11 am, there was a “pound” on our door at 8:30 am. It was some woman she said she was doing a room check to make sure we were checking out that morning. I told her yes! Then my boyfriend and I went for a walk when we were coming back and walking down the hall towards our room the same lady was at our room door with the side of her head and ear on our door. It was 9:30 am. This woman was not identified by hotel identification and was not dressed as a hotel maid. For $250.00 dollars a night the accommodations were far less than satisfactory. I have never had anyone pound on our door for a room check to make sure we were checking out. Our peace was disturbed. This motel and Best Western, and Expedia certainly need an evaluation of their accommodations it cost us $500.00 dollars for the unsatisfactory accommodations. At Rose Quartz Inn in Chester California. Also that woman at our door!!! I hope you post this review

The staff was nice and the room was clean. We were supposed to have 2 rooms that were suites, but they only had one available. The hot tub was being renovated, which was disappointing. There were great breakfast options!
