Due to the automated check in & check out I didn’t get to see a a staff member throughout my stay. Hotel has a good location and well kept for an old building. Didn’t seem to be a lift

Very disappointing, breakfast was awful Evening meal medioca , no atmosphere, staff inexperienced, not a hotel to go to if you want 3star and above. Over priced Standard way below what is advertised.

As you did not stay with us, we find it difficult to understand how you could possibly review your stay at the hotel. I understand your frustraton with not being able to get a refund , but you did book the cheaper non refundable rate and the terms and conditions were clear when the reservation was made

The stay in the room was good however the receptionist was quite rude to us when we went to ask about filling the kettle up. Her tone wasn't nice and neither was her telling us to fill the kettle up using the sink in the bathroom as we found that unhygienic.

Nice but warm room... South Side
Lovely hotel in general, good location but can be a touch noisy with A31 next to it. Lovely and clean, small ladybird cluster in room but no issues, but found room very warm.

Our stay was wonderful. However, when i attempted to use the self-service checkout because no one was at the desk, the tablet insisted that my name did not match the room number.

Nice property with fantastic staff, I was going to an event close by but forgot to print the tickets, so asked reception if they would mind printing them for me, which they kindly did. Once I had returned home I realised I had left behind my Apple pen, when I contacted the hotel regarding this they were able to locate the pen and return it to me, thank you

All rather average, below expectation
Room was ok size, but everything looked a bit tired. Mould around the window, no air-con - which I would have expected for the price. Breakfast was OK but again the breakfast room was grubby, and plenty of empty tables that hadn't been cleaned away. The staff I dealt with were all pleasant and helpful, but for the price I had higher expectations of this hotel.

Lovely - but probably nicer in winter!
The hotel is lovely, rooms are clean and it is a beautiful place to stay. Unfortunately my room was red hot, despite the provided fan, and I had drunk all the provided water and used towels to dampen and lay across me in the night. I left the hanger asking for my room to be made up and when it wasn't, I checked with reception and was told that housekeeping only visit a room every "three or four days". The staff couldn't have been more helpful though - it was lovely to see them interact with some of the more elderly and less able guests too.

It was lovely, all the facilities were amazing especially the pool and hot tub, staff were pleasant and helpful food was amazing, the only negative no air conditioning in the room so was really hot and the fan provided was not enough.

I've stayed at the sister hotel and this was just as nice, friendly staff on reception and in the restaurant, spa was also great, although the man on reception at the spa didn't seem very happy to be at work. Dinner was lovely, my only criticism is that we ordered the pigeon breast as a starter which wasn't cheap and we were given a tiny piece in a ginormous bowl full of sauce. I've had pigeon breast several times before and have always had 3/4 pieces on a plate, it was laughable, so maybe beware of that.

The bedroom was far too hot with no means of control. The hotel provided 2 noisy fans which improved the situation slightly. A nice hotel but not one I could book again,

Really easy to find for a road trip stop over. Parking fine and all staff helpful. Only issue we had was one of the kids beds hadn't been ready but this was quickly rectified.
