“Incredible Gatwick area historic inn!”
What a find this inn was! A 1580 Elisabethan inn that has all modern, up to date conveniences. Very luxourious yet only a few minutes from Gatwick.....a mere $10. taxi ride. Incredible dining experience although one must pick from the all inclusive 3 course menu.... |A great way to either begin or finish a UK holiday!
“Beautiful hotel, excellent service.”
We only stayed here on a room-only basis for 6 hours following our wedding on Sunday and prior to our honeymoon flight to Turkey which was very early on Monday morning but it was lovely! We liked it so much that a 10 days later we stayed again when faced with another flight from Gatwick to Amsterdam. The second time we ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a very early continental breakfast. The restaurant quality was excellent and the staff absolutely lovely. Their knowledge of the food and wine was excellent. We'll definitely be back next time we fly from Gatwick.
“A gem of a hotel”
what a find this hotel was. we were upgraded to a suite with its own private garden. the most beautiful, romantic room with everything you could want. dinner at the restaurant was superb. didn't want to leave.

Excellent spot to stay if using Gatwick. Beautiful grounds and accomodations. Restaurant is good.
“Wonderful, relaxing stay but close to Gatwick airport.”
We wanted to stay close to Gatwick airport but not right on top of it. Longshott Manor proved to be the ideal solution being close by but set in beautiful countryside and being very well appointed. It has lovely big rooms and was warm and quiet with a stream meandering through the grounds. The service and surroundings were excellent and it proved to be a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We didn't eat in the hotel's restaurant.
“very English”
We currently live in the middle of London. We wanted a quite weekend away, but needed to be in the area for a commitment on Sat. night. We went down to the Surrey area on Fri. and stayed here on Fri night. Even though we got in late the staff was absolutely wonderful, opened the kitchen and served us professionally just next to the fire in the "living room". Food was just beautiful. Next time we will get there in time for dinner. In the morning we were treated to ducks walking by the windows as we ate our breakfast. The setting was wonderfully tucked away down a country road. Our bedroom was large, spacious with a delightful bathroom. The staff was extremely accommodating. We will definitely go back here many times when we just need to get out of the city.

Das Hotel hat alles, was England Liebhaber schätzen. Viele Hotels sind immer gleich, das Langshott Manor ist ein traditionell englisch eingerichtetes Hotel mit vielen Besonderheiten. Wir hatten einen Wassersteg als Terrasse, sehr idyllisch. Der englische Garten war wunderschön. Das Restaurant hatte einen einen ausgezeichneten Service und jeder, der behauptet, englische Küche sei schlecht, sollte einmal dort speisen und sich vom Gegenteil überzeugen. Selbst das Frühstück war eine Gaumenfreude.

Ein supertolles Hotel im alten englischen Stil! Einfach wunderbar! Sehr nettes Personal, saubere Zimmer, ruhig gelegen und nobel! Ich werde das Hotel auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen und es jedem empfehlen der England liebt!
