Me and my son stayed here a few times in 2022 with an ok experience. In 2023 i stayed and the hotel had a horrible smell and it was dirty. I read recent reviews and decided to stay this past weekend. What an improvement! Very Clean. Management very nice. Not fancy. Just a clean place to shower and sleep while you "Beach."

This is a great hotel for the price. Clean and great access to the beach. It is still under renovation and guests need to keep that in mind. I went with 1 bed since there was just 2 of us. It was a small double bed and kind of wished i would have gotten 2 beds. Overall it wasa great stay and we will book with them again!

Property needs work, door was damage and also didn’t close. Very run down you really get what you pay for . We stayed one night passing through so we sucked it up. But we left thankfully for having good jobs that we normally stay in high end hotels and we were limited in last minute stay . Staff manager was very nice and attentive in check in .

This place was disgusting. Smelled like cockroaches and meth-heads. Didn't sleep here. I had taken a few things up to the room and turned around and went back to the front desk to give them back the key. The manager told me he could not refund since it was booked thru Expedia. I will be calling for a refund. The photos were very deceiving.

It is walking distance to the beach. We only needed a place to sleep and shower, so it was clean and the a/c definitely works!! They have a water hose outside on the end of the building that is helpful with getting the sand off before you go in anywhere!! That was a plus. I will go back.

The shower and tub was very stained and looked very dirty. The bed platform was raw wood. The staff including Sarah was very helpful in spite of the age and ruin of the property. Looks to be over 50 years old.Refrigerator had to be replaced as the initial one didn't work. No safety chain on the door.

The beach tar has been a very difficult obstacle to overcome for us! We are steadily trying different approaches in how to successfully remove it not only from our tubs & showers but our towels & sheets as well. We apologize for the appearance due to beach tar but I promise you the tubs & showers are clean. Please come see us again.

I could not get anyone to return my call so I could get my key deposit back when I checked out dropped key in slot in door , 24 hours later still no call back. As well as there is a bad leak in room 13 …I wanted to discuss to see if I could get a discount or at least tell them about the leak. I’m sure they received that msg but no one has called me, I have left several msgs no one answers or calls back. Nasty place , roaches, dirty , leaky ceiling , water smells like eggs and sewer, dirty walls , hair in shower , room smells. Embarrassed I stayed to save 200 dollars but I would not have been refunded or at very least had the courtesy of a call back.

Booked on hotels .com arrived checked it horrific sewer smell coming from water in the shower and sink management unable to refund my money and the owner would not even talk to me complete waste of money have stayed here many times before but never again a quick trip to the beach ended up costing over $300 had to find suitable accommodation ant another hotel

Cheapest room on the beach. Beautiful ocean view. Short walk to the beach. The property itself is a bit run down and neglected, but the AMAZING housekeeping staff keeps it very clean and is attentive to making guests comfortable.

Reserved 2 rooms with 2 beds for 2 nights, 2 weeks in advance. 1 week before I received 2 phone calls asking if I could just come for 1 night or make the trip the next weekend. The vacation was planned in memorial of my father who just passed for Fathers day with a car full of 7. I let them know it's not possible and they said okay they would call others. 5 hours before arriving -10 hours into our drive to get there- and left them know what time we would be arriving. They said that's okay, that's just fine to come on. When we arrived they told us they had sold out but still had 1 room, with 1 bed and 2 chairs that I could have (with 7). I told them that's impossible so they proceeded to show me to their apartment imbehind the check out counter that had camera screens set up and was filthy. They offered us their bedroom for our stay, the gesture was way kind but the mattress had blood stains and filth. Everyone on the property seemed to blame the owners that doesn't live anywhere. We were thankful to find another motel, just not on the beach. This place is not recommended for a relaxing vacation. I recommend this place be closed down till they can clean it up. It was so ran down and disgusting. There was furniture outside on the ground, just looked like something from a cheap bad movie.

The room was horrible. It stunk so bad and when you turned on the water it smelt like sewer. The curtains were very old and wouldn’t even go together. The motel is just so old. I was scared all night that someone was going to break in to my room. I had to check out and find somewhere else to stay. The only positive was that the manager was very nice.

I want to say good things. But it is challenging. Staff was friendly. Great location. Cheapest place. Now the bad part: it is old and falling apart. It is NOT clean. Not sure if i will go back.

The worst place ever it was disgusting. Terrible conditions the smell of the room and te water was just terrible like moldy and rusty… the mattress was so dirty and stained… spiders and roaches… we told management and they did nothing. Me and my family slept outside the motel in our cars.

Close to beach. But the water in the room stunk so bad we couldn’t shower or use the water for anything at all. Had to bring our own coffee pot. People above us were extremely loud. Sounded like a heard of elephants running on top of us early and late. Others would sit outside our window and party all night. I got charged for a room with a dinette on bottom floor but was put into a standard room and no refund on the difference.

I can’t not begin to explain how dirty this place was. The beds, walls, doors, and bathroom were super dirty. Shower curtain was yellow with bold stains and well as the mini fridge. The room smelled like rusty moldy pipes and to make it worse the ac was not working. Beyond dirty to the point where I ended up sleeping in my car. This is unbelievable and just sad.
