Very modern, great to have air con and parking. Also a great location for walking into Kingston along the river, or to Hampton Court Palace. Surbiton also a great place to go for a drink and something to eat. Hearty breakfast with everything you could want, and bar offered cocktails.

The location is great, the rooms are fine and a/c is a definite plus over budget hotels. Was quite surprised to find the bar closed very early and there are no vending machines for bottled water or snacks when everything else is closed. The staff were using the pandemic excuse. But I have no idea why the pandemic would affect the opening hours of the bar. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection and freshly cooked.

Highly recommended
We only stayed one night but our room was lovely very clean and had everything you could ask for in a room . If I had to stay anything negative it would be that we had a balcony but nothing to sit on, other rooms had tables and chairs but for some reason ours didn't, it was a lovely morning would have been nice to sit out with a coffee and watch the boats on the river

Good staff attitude, good breakfast especially towards food allergy. The clealiness, could be better. Dirty linen, cobwebs in rooms. Used glasses in the room. Some rooms had no tissues, Coukd not use onenof the beds as nonl linen , no duvet cover despite asking for one.

Overrated and over priced!!!!
very overrated hotel - expensive for what you get and beds uncomfortable. Did not like fact of the £50 up front hold charge on credit card - still not cleared bank after 7 days!!!!

Can't fault the reception staff. Nor the bar staff for that matter. All very cooperative and friendly. I hope the hotel recognises these valuable qualities and give them all a pay rise. PS. The plug in the bathroom sink represents a significant initiative test. But the the leaver to release the plug is hidden directly behind the tap and so out of sight.

Lack lustre
Room very small had to go down side of bed sideways , bath chipped shower came of the wall while using and glass doors to bathroom lacked any privacy . Breakfast dull and poor quality ingredients . In all not 4 star and over priced .

Being fussy maybe ?
Nice enough twin room but it did not come with all the amenities mentioned when I selected it… no tea/coffee machine just a kettle, no safe or sofa bed and no outlook , though room with “ city views” was detailed; to be fair an adjustment to cost of stay was given when I pointed this out at checkout. Staff were lovely and friendly

Worth the money
Lovely hotel, we stayed in the king club room, with views of the river. A very good sized room, with a good room layout. Would definitely stay there again.

Good location
Good location for where our race event was taking place. Near to river & all Kingston town amenities. Staff were friendly & polite. Not a great dinner menu for anyone with food intolerances but they did produce some non descript, bland chicken & vegetables

Nice hotel, well situated
Clean, comfortable accommodation, with all needs catered for. Well located for pleasant riverside walk to Kingston (40 mins)or short bus ride to Esher) On site free parking is a bonus

We booked a room in this hotel for the view. When we arrived we were given a very dark room with a small window, no air to breathe in this summer weather of temperature 24. We had to request a better room . The lady gave us a better room with a slight resistance. We paid £129.90 which was a good price . We were disappointed been offered a poxy room in the first place. It should have made it clear the price for different kind of rooms on the website.

Good hotel near Surbiton and Kingston
Nice hotel. Quite a small room but functional and comfortable. Very clean. Good service. Covid restriction meant I didn’t use any facilities, restaurants or room service. Good location, 2 mins walk to the Thames, 10 mins walk from centre of Surbiton or 30 mins from Kingston.

1 night stay in Surbiton
Very enjoyable stay after a stuttering start. We were not happy with the room initially allocated, but this was changed and upgraded very quickly when we alerted the Crowne Plaza staff. Good views and excellent room service breakfasts. Covid restrictions meant the the atmosphere was flat, but there is nothing that could be done about that. Covid precautions were excellent.

Water ingress through the ceiling at 4am in the morning. Offered free breakfast but we had paid for that already. Then 2 complementary Drinks. Overslept so missed the breakfast. Think another night offered free of charge Would have been the minimum offered. That said staff are very professional and polite

Great location for Kingston & surrounding areas
Our stay, in-between our house sold & moving on, was comfortable & had everything we needed. The staff were excellent & on hand to help when needed. Food offering was very good. No complaints & would definitely stay again.

Staff were friendly and happy to help.. due to covid restrictions there wasnt the usual info in the room but staff were happy to answer any questions u had. The hotel location was in a good position for the river walk so i will definitely use this hotel again
