Clean, safe and hotel, good value for money
Rooms were very spacious and impeccably clean. Staff was friendly and we really enjoyed the view over the bay of Sur during our breakfast.

Fine plays to stay overnight
You get what you pay for. Room is spacious, but some things do not work well. AC is too loud, bed is soft. Breakfast is not good at all. They have a fine restaurant Sahari connected to the hotel. Staff is polite and welcoming.

Sur Hotel
We stayed one night, the chef had his day off, (Friday) could not have dinner at the hotel. However next door an excellent outdoor Turkish/Arabic restaurant with fresh fish. AC was working but had it's own mind when to start. Can have a nice walk from the hotel to the cornice all paved areas for pedestrians. Breakfast was basic,but satisfied for the price we paid.

Quiet place with nice views
Enjoyed my stay here. Very peaceful with a nice restaurant with outdoor seating attached to it. Not a lot to do in the immediate vicinity but if you like just walking around & seeing how the locals live, it can be quite a pleasant experience.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet hôtel par son emplacement en bord de mer et tout proche du quartier Al-Ayjah plein de charme. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une chambre au 3eme etage ce qui permet d'avoir moins le bruit de la circulation. Nous avons aussi beneficié d'un check in de bonne heure ce qui a ete ideal pour nous : merci aux jeunes femmes de la reception sympathiques et efficaces. Notre chambre etant spacieuse avec un petit salon face à la mer, le lit etait confortable et la petite alcove avec dressing et coin frigo etait bien pratique ( bruit du frigo isolé et nombreux rangements). La salle de petit dejeuner offre egalement une belle vue et un petit dejeuner buffet est proposé. Qualité moyenne( trop cuit, desséché) mais avec suffisamment de choix pour bien dejeuner. Nous avons donc passé un bon sejour et recommendons cette adresse à condition d'avoir une chambre au 3eme ou 4eme étage.

Bon rapport qualité prix, personnel serviable et souriant. Nous avions une chambre avec vue sur mer et un super coucher de soleil. Un peu excentré du centre ville mais proche de tous les sites d’intérêts dans cette ville. Un restaurant juste à côté très bon (nous avions eu du poisson frais). Seul bémol l’eau chaude dans la douche un peu capricieuse.

Die Lage ist gut für die Besichtung des Hafens und der Altstadt. Das Zimmer sehr geräumig, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstücksbuffet sehr lecker. Die Straße ist relativ laut, Ohropax mitnehmen. Preis/Leistung hervorragend.

a Cama foi o ponto forte, quarto bem espaçoso e vista mto boa para o porto. Atendimento OK,não tive mta compreensão na hora da chegada quando informei que precisaria sair um dia antes, tive que entrar em contato com a Hotels via telefone que como sempre resolveu muito bem a questão. Café da manhã poderia ser melhor, mas é aceitável. Não é buffet, é por menu individual Wifi ruim

Bin wegen Werft gekommen, deshalb nur eine Übernachtung. Zimmer etwas spartanisch eingerichtet. Empfang und Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Essen (Nachtessen) durchschnittlich, aber im Verhältnis zum Preis OK.

Soggiornato una sola notte ma personale moto cortese . Camera grande e pulita. Colazione buona e con buona varietà di cibi. Unico difetto arrivare presto perché altrimenti si trova ben poco. Il Wi-Fi è abbastanza scadente, o si sta nella hall o in camera non c'è. In generale l'albergo lo consiglio com era tappa per visitare Sur o comunque vedere il sud dell'Oman. Ci tornerei sicuramente se dovessi ripassare.

Ruime kamer, goed WiFi en goede douche. Keihard bed en dramatisch slecht georganiseerd restaurant. We hebben meer dan een uur moeten wachten op ons drinken en eten terwijl er naast ons nog maar 2 mensen waren. Van de 5 dingen die we besteld hadden, kregen we er 3. Hotel adverteert met mooi uitzicht, maar daar klopt weinig van.

Perfect stay for Sur and the turtles
The Hotel is next to a very good restaurant. The staff was nice and the check-in and -out went smoothly. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean with a mountain and city view. The breakfast was great. We did not expect so much selection of food.

Extrem harte Betten, war froh dort nur 1 Nacht verbracht zu haben. Die Umgebung ist aber wirklich schön, direkt vis a vis der Dhau-Werften.

Et almindelig ok hotel, fint til ren overnatning
Ikke noget videre spændende hotel, men fint hvis man bare skal have et sted at overnatte. Bandalarmen gik i gang to gange omkring kl. 0530-0600. Der var ikke nogen i receptionen da jeg kom ned, men der gik en rundt i spisesalen og gjorde klar til morgenmad. Han mente ikke umiddelbart der var nogen grund til at være nervøs, men det virkede ikke videre troværdigt. Det blev heller ikke nævnt ved check out, ikke så meget som et "det beklager vi".

Enkelt hotell i Sur, Oman. Bra för att stanna en natt om man vill besöka sköldpaddorstranden, som ligger 40 km söder om Sur. Det var också vår anledning. För en natt var hotellet ok, när vi hade elavbrott tar personalen hand om oss i restaurangen - fast på rummen gick inget utan el: inget varmvatten, ingen tv, ingen luftkonditionering, ingen lampa. Lite trist.

Für eine Nacht sehr gute Wahl in Sur
Dieses Hotel ist in der chinesischer Hand. Die Erwartungen sollen auch dem angepasst werden. Das heisst es ist alles was man braucht vorhanden aber halt irgendwie eingepflegt oder montiert. Die Zimmer sind gross und sauber. Frühstück ist gut. Restaurant unterhalb des Hotels ist ziemlich gut und liegt direkt am Wasser.

L'hôtel situé proche de l'eau est en bordure de Sur. Les chambres son très grandes mais dans un état ordinaire. Correct pour une nuit en transit.

Zu Fuss ins Zentrum ca. 20 Minuten. Das Essen im Lokal nebenan war sehr lecker aber nicht grad ein Schnaeppchen. Hier kann man auch gemuetlich Wasserpfeife rauchen. Da unser Bus sehr frueh los ging war der Hotelchef so lieb und hat uns persoenlich zum Bus gebracht, da um 6 Uhr morgends wahrscheinlich kein Taxi zu bekommen ist.

Ideale Fussdistanz zum Zentrum von Sur
Guter Zustand des Hauses, was in Anbetracht der Eröffnung im 2011 nicht erstaunen sollte. Grosse Zimmer. Gute Betten. Ideale Gehdistanz bis Zentrum (Souk) ca 25 Minuten, dank der neuen Brücke. Damit entfällt das mühsame Parkplatzsuchen. Einziger negativer Punkt war der penetrante Gestank des Desinfikationsmittels (ähnlich wie Mottenkugeln), welches im WC stand. Dank der milden Aussentemperatur konnte die ganze Zeit über das Fenster offen bleiben und diesem "Duft" etwas entgegenwirken.
