What a cute and creative property! Was comfortable, clean, and priced well. Great gardens. Would definitely stay here again. Right in the glass mountains so not really walkable to restaurants but there is a kitchen onsite if you bring your own food. Loved the experience

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. It is appreciated.
My stay exceeded my expectations for a quiet mini retreat. Such a unique, lush, hospitable and peaceful place. Breakfast was a highlight - as were the grounds, the gardens, the views, the peace and quiet, the quirky recycled items, the birdsong and the comfortable bed.

It was a delight to have you stay with us.
Yes, the atmosphere with the birds and wildlife is very special- and all this just over an hour from Brisbane.
We look forward to welcoming you back some time in the future.

It is one of the places that you want to keep for yourself and not letting other people know, so you can keep coming back to stay. The ecolodge is an excellent accommodation option in the Glass House Mountains area. We stayed there at a quieter time with not many guests at the lodge. The quality of accommodation was superb. The property itself is amazing with a range of accommodations available and wonderful Garden of Eaten. Even being out of season we picked up few fruits to enjoy. One can turn it into an educational experience for kids by learning names of various fruit trees and some facts about them (there is a guide book to help). There are various short walks around the property as well as a small library and games/toys that keep children (and adults) occupied. Lookouts and bushwalks are very close. Communal kitchen is fit with everything you need for cooking. It might be hot there during summer but we were at a cooler time, so did not notice it much. Staff is very helpful and accommodative.

Loved the peaceful property and convenience to Australia zoo . My 5 year old son loved the trains that are converted into a kitchen and dining cart . Also a library. Room was very comfortable and clean . Staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was yummy .

Isela,
Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We are so pleased you chose to stay at the Ecolodge and look forward to welcoming you back next time.
Had to book something quickly for one night so probably got the last room. It was cheap and probably what you would expect for the price. Even so its still good money that was more about the badge than the product. Bed very uncomfortable and squeaky. Room noisy from surrounding visitors. Bathroom clean but dated and shower leaking. Overall better than sleeping in back of the car, but probably no better than a cabin at an unbranded caravan park. Happy to have paid more for better experience if there was one available as the overall property is very lovely and unique. Maybe next time.

Claudia,
Thank you for the review and drawing to our attention the leaky shower.
Yes, we do have a variety of room types (Bungalows, Train carriages ) which next time you might find more suitable to your needs.
Delighted to see you appreciated the overall ambience of the Ecolodge property.
The total experience started on arrival. At check in we were certainly looked after. Sally showed us around the lodge explaining where we would have breakfast to where our room was located, along with details of the afternoon walk we were about to embark on.
Breakfast was provided at very good cost and Keith was perfect host, making us a very good plunger of coffee to start the day.
Thanks for a very nice enjoyable stay. We hope to return in the very near future with friends,

We stayed in the train carriage which was very quiet and relaxing. Facilities were excellent, fantastic bird noises and plenty of places to enjoy nature. You are best to bring your own food requirements and self cook as amenities are great. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Certainly a relaxing stay. Just remember no TV.

Loved this place, providing you aren't expecting a TV. Making our breakfast in the train carriage and then eating out on the deck was lovely.

Delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. The Breakfast with Birdsong on the train carriage deck is certainly something "special" in the springtime.

The bungalow we stayed in was very spacious and had everything we needed for a two night stay. Surrounding grounds were relaxing and calming. Lots of bird life and it was great listening to the buzzing bees on the nearby orange tree whilst having breakfast. Lots of things to do nearby.

Delighted you enjoyed it all.

Very relaxing stay in a beautiful location, which was perfect for what we were looking for. This was our first weekend at this venue, but we will definitely plan to return. We liked the variety of quiet places available to sit and relax, both inside and out. Thanks.

We loved this property, it's perfect for the short weekend break we needed.
It's quaint, feels more "rural/country" than it is, there are loads of bush walks / amenities within a short drive.
Keith (the owner) was welcoming, kind and very helpful with orientating us to the property.
We stayed in the bungalow and all accommodation was far enough not to hear anyone else.

A wonderful, quiet retreat close to Brisbane in the stunning Glass House Mountains. Disappointed that there is no charging available for electric vehicles in an eco-retreat. This is challenging as the closest charger is Coory Railway Station, an hour up the highway. The Orchard cabins are functional but tiny and the outdoor area is not private. The property is immaculate in every way though. Cheap and cheerful.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry if you felt disaapointed about the size of your Orchard Room. We do of course have much larger Bungalows available that may have better suited your needs. When developing the Ecolodge we wanted to make sure we had a variety of accommodation types to suyit every budget. The Orchard room being that the lower end of pricing.
We would of course love to install an EV charging station but at a cost of over $10,000.00 it is just not viable at this time. Something for the future.
Fabulous! Stayed in the church. Great fire, very comfortable. All you need for a few nights. The additional communal facilities are a bonus. Host is very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely stunning and relaxing location. The restored train carriage is a brilliantly unique addition to the property, and love the eco-friendly mindset of the facilities. Keith, the owner, was also super helpful and recommended some lovely walks in the area. Great accommodation for solo travellers like myself, but also couples and families. Definitely would stay again.

Keith was very helpful and had great local knowledge. The whole setup of the property is unique and a little bit quirky. It is very peaceful and can be as relaxing or energetic as you want with access to many walks and all the usual tourist attractions the Sunshine Coast has to offer. Highly recommend this tiny piece of paradise.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry about the "Heat pump". The use of the hand held device to turn on the heater can be a bit confusing and in your case ( as explained) it was a simple case of ensuring it was on the correct setting.
