Great for Snowboarders.

Posted 07-Aug-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Needs re-refurbishment and air conditioning.
Location: Great location for mountain activities summer or winter though the resort is quiet in Summer.
Height of Summer, resort was dead and hotel suffered from lack of air conditioning. Golfers who like to rough it may not mind the discomfort if looking for a budget hotel.

Hot and Nosie!

Posted 20-Jul-2014
Pros: Best coffee shop in the village is located in this building!
Cons: Install air conditioning at least in the hallways so you can open the door and cool off your room.
Location: Very nice village.
This hotel has No air conditioning, in the rooms, the hallways, no where and it was 30c every day. if you open the windows at night you get to hear all the loud drunks on the street until 3 am then at 6am the tour busses back up to the hotel with their beeper going off. They moved us after the 1st night when I complained about the noise to a different room and it was even hotter.

Coast Sunpeaks Lodge

Posted 25-Jun-2014
Pros: it was all good
Cons: no
Location: horseback riding
The Manager of Reception, Robyn, was absolutely amazing. She did everything she could to make our stay a memorable one. Our room was quite warm and no screens on the doors so she took us to two other rooms and let us take our pick. The bar attached to the hotel has great food and the servers were awesome...

Pay for parking? Really!

Why was there no maid service and very confused about having to pay for parking when half the garage was full of furniture and golf carts.

Comfortable but Warm

Posted 21-May-2014 on Hotels.com
The room was comfortable however there is no air conditioning in the room which made it quite warm to sleep and our room was above the walk way so every now and again I was woke up by someone yelling below! The bathroom fan was in dire need if being replace it either didn't work or was squealing!

Coast Sundance Sun Peaks

Posted 07-Mar-2014
Pros: The Location - right at the base of the hill and a short distance to the lifts. The beds were devine and the high ceilings were a bonus.
The hotel was recommended by a co worker and was everything that they claimed it to be. The location was excellent and having a view of the ski hills was a bonus. The room was very well appointed for our needs. The maintenance staff even accommodated our need for cleaning of the vehicle windows after a very slushy drive up with water. The whole experience, with accommodations, snow shoeing and skiing has definitely ear marked Sun Peaks as a destination ski resort.

Really close to the ski area

Hotel is old and in need of some TLC. Lots of problems in the room that need repairs. Cleaning staff needs to learn what a truly clean room is. I questioned just how clean the room was when I opened the bar ridge and saw crumbs and onion skins left in the fridge as I was loading it with my own groceries. That was only one example of what I came across.
